We premiere ‘Lose My Mind’, the new collaboration from Micah Baxter and Bear Weigle on Issues. It lands as a tight, rolling underground cut shaped for peak-time terraces, built around firm percussion, booming low-end pressure and a confident groove that stays locked from the first bar.

‘Lose My Mind’ hits you with its focus straight away. The drums stay crisp. The rhythm never loosens. There is a grit in the percussion that gives the track attitude without tipping into chaos. The bassline moves with weight and purpose, giving DJs a steady foundation to build around. The vocal samples add shape and movement, sitting just above the groove in a way that keeps dancers locked in without distracting from the drive. It is a track made for those moments when the energy is high and the room needs something direct that still feels underground at its core.

Micah Baxter brings a strong sense of identity to the project. The Peterborough producer has built his profile through deep, groovy minimal cuts that stand out for their clarity. His work on Gritty Records has drawn attention from Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Detlef, The Martinez Brothers and Marco Carola, placing him firmly within the wider minimal deep tech conversation. His productions carry a certain toughness, but they stay clean. They move. They keep their edge without losing musicality. You hear that approach running through this track.

Bear Weigle adds his own flavour. The San Francisco-based artist has been shaping a profile built on nuance, groove and subtle motion. His DJ sets blend deep house, broken patterns and left-field club sounds with ease, always focusing on flow rather than big moments. That same touch comes through in ‘Lose My Mind’. You sense restraint. You sense patience. He brings texture and light detail to Micah’s harder framework, giving the track its shape and swing.

Their debut on Issues feels like a natural fit. It introduces a pairing that leans into rhythm, punch and club-ready simplicity while still holding onto detail and taste.
