001.. The beginning of a new adventure..

It may come as a surprise to some, that in 2014, Armada Music appears to be making its first foray into a chill compilation. After all, Armada tunes have been essential to countless chill-out compilations for over a decade. Ever since the Gabriel & Dresden Chill Mix of Motorcycle's 'As the Rush Comes' first took over the world, the record label has produced a constant string of tracks and remixes that have found their way to relaxing locations around the globe. And now, overflowing with talent and tunes, the time has come to give each special song a new home.

From the soul-wrenching instrumentation of Michael St. Laurent's 'All Gone', to Moe Turk's jazz-infused opener, to a couple of spaced-out beauties courtesy of Rodg, the only unifying factor in this compilation is exquisite, blissful calm. One of the breakaway tracks from the compilation comes from rising Parisian talent KRONO, who deliver a powerful hit with Amsterdam vocalist Cimo Fränkel - 'Sweet Goodbye' is already making waves, and it's a force to be reckoned with.

Familiar, yet bold and new, the tone of this double mix compilation is one of over-arching beauty and deep relaxation. Pooling together dozens of exceptional tracks spanning a wide tempo range, Armada Chill 001 presents the genre as it should be - effortless and powerful.

Ukrainian producer Yaaman presents another face of his sound under the new moniker Chuck Loon. The first release on the new label Vesna Recordings, Far From Perfect EP is the great musical adventure which starts form strenuous but moody tune "Lowubabe" with solid beat and vivid vocal chops. "I Hear Now" is the groovy stomper which's energy increases from one pattern to another making a good transition from classic House chords and jazzy cuts to massive and even agressive club sound. Last tune of the EP called "Your Self" hooks us with simple melody, classic piano stabs and sexy whispering female vocal refraine "Be yoursrlf, just be yourself". It reflects the whole idea of an EP: we all far from perfect, just be yourself.

Поєднання класичного глибокого електро та елементів індустріального техно — саме такий музичний бекграунд треку «صَبْرٌ», що з арабської означає терпіння. Емоційний текст, який перемішується з локаціями Парижу, створює ефект тріпу, який завершується агресивним дропом, який і являється кульмінацією усієї композиції.

Sasha.Tysk — це новий проєкт українського музиканта Саші Первухіна (більше 20 вінілових релізів під іменами Sasha Pervukhin і Alex Pervukhin), який зараз базується в Парижі. В цьому проєкті Олександр поєднює авангардну електронну музику і українські тексти. До речі, його треки з українськими словами вже грали і грають на провідних світових танцполах від Бразилії до Ібіци.
