Made with Renoise 1.9 using pure samples and internal effects. Written for Breakpoint 2010  streaming music competition - has been ranked #5. It was supposed to be classic, "mainstream"-like, light/dance'ish drum'n'bass tune, but I couldn't resist fitting it up with my usual melodies and arpeggios ;) Strongly inspired by "Beautiful Lies" by B-Complex.

I didn't make it in time for the remix contest, but I remixed this song anyway. This song became the birth of the Artcore genre ever since it was released back in 2002. The original song is by Onoken: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg-V_uQYZLY

This remix took me a total of 58 hours to make. It was hard for me to shift to this kind of genre because my sound library isn't prepared for making orchestral compositions. Note that I only use free VSTs which is why the strings and piano sound kinda synthetic. But overall, I'm still happy with the result. It sounded almost like what I imagined it would be.
