Hailing from Italy, with Germano Ventura he has been releasing several dancefloor bombs with an intimate touch to them, under the monikers ‘Verrina & Ventura’ and ‘Howl Ensemble’, and he is also active as a manager for the labels Howl Records (also with Germano Ventura) and All Inn Records - these count, among others, releases from the likes of Dana Ruh, Varhat, Onur Özer, Traumer and many more.

We are thrilled to present Mau House's brand new EP, titled 'Plastic Face' by Darksidevinyl and Tomy Wahl.
The Egyptian producer Mido Maher aka Darksidevinyl, which is based in Vienna, collaborated with the Argentinian producer Tomy Wahl for their mutual debut EP on Mau House, displaying two powerful and hypnotizing original tracks: 'Plastic Face' and 'Solsticio', which are accompanied by three brilliant remixes. The opening tune is the EP theme track, 'Plastic Face', a peak time hour progressive gem with a solid and very captivating bass-line, warm synth riffs, and acidic melodies that will make any dancer feel possessed. 'Solsticio', exhibits an extremely fresh vibe of top-notch electronica with a romantic atmosphere created by synths, an arpeggiator, and exquisite percussion sounds, followed by a charming Middle Eastern melody, creating a surprising collision between East and West. On remix duty, we have the Spanish producer Sarcasmo with his debut on our label with his remix for the Ep theme track, which displays a more obscure and foggy vibe, while keeping the progressive energy of the original and its captivating warm trippy melody. Coming up next we have the pleasure to welcome Amir Telem to Mau House with his punchy driving interpretation for the EP theme track, 'Plastic Face', which includes deep touching vocals, and lots of pleasurable percussions giving the original a splendid Summery vibe. Last but not least, we have the honor to welcome the Haifa-Based producer SINAN for his debut on our imprint, with an impeccable deep remix for 'Solsticio', presenting an extremely fresh and darkish vibe, perfectly suited for the after-hours on a sweaty club.

Since their inception in 2005, the Hamburg duo has commanded the loftiest respect throughout the industry thanks to their thoughtful and emotive brand of house and techno. From ‘Soopertrack’ to ‘Dark Side of the Room’, every raver worth their salt has had an Extrawelt dancefloor moment, their soaring chords touching hearts and hips in equal doses.

Taking their intuitive approach to musical production to its next evolutionary phase, the ‘Automatik Akrobatik EP’ sees them in free-flow form, gifting us with a triumvirate of superb studio jams that encapsulate everything that’s special about their music. ‘Alpha & Oma’ is uplifting and throbbing, the kind of visceral techno gem that would make even the most hardened punter a little weapy. ‘Email auf Klinke’ is punchy and minimal, a solid roller to contrast its predecessor. The title track has the sonic arc of an epic film score, building from a languid pace to a widescreen glistening wall of sound, inspiring and bad ass in equal doses.

“These tracks are basically "one take" jams with very few edits afterwards. The computer was mostly acting as a tape recorder while the arrange took place on the desk and machines. We feel that those tracks that happen in a nice flow and without overthinking them too much often appear to deliver their energy in a more raw and direct way but simultaneously also become rather homogenous instead of taking unnecessary deflections.” - Extrawelt

Release Info: 
Vivrant's second release of 2021 follows up on the first volume of the label’s new Commune VA series, which featured Swedish godfather of Techno Joel Mull, label boss Jeremy Olander, German virtuoso Sascha Braemer as well as Viggo Dyst, Carl Dern and Lexer. The Stockholm-based label’s 26th release gives us the return of man of the hour Marino Canal in the form of the reimagined 'Vangelis Dreams' EP, Marino’s debut project on Vivrant, featuring remixes from Afterlife standout Coeus, legend in the game Dominik Eulberg and Danish up-and-comers Baime. 

First out the gates is Baime with their reinterpretation of lead track 'Vangelis Dreams'. While maintaining the mystic and tranquil nature of the original, the Danish duo, which has previous releases on Radikon, Watergate and Elements, adds an additional layer of sawtooth bass lines and paranormal FX, creating a grittier and more raw track perfectly fitting for the wee hours of the afters. 

Second in line is Coeus. A staple name in the record bags of Tale of Us, Solomun, Adriatique and Dixon, this Serbian standout has become synonymous with the next wave of Balkan producers. His style of atmospheric, sinister yet melodic productions are a hand-in-glove fit with the vocal elements in 'Calling Me Back', and his contribution brings a dimension of groove to the track and gives it a given spin towards the peak time of your set. 

Last but certainly not last; Dominik Eulberg. A true pioneer and veteran on the scene and an alumni of distinguished imprints in the likes of Cocoon, K7, Traum and Anjunadeep, Dominik has created an epic melodic journey of 'Lost Souls Seeking Comfort'. With a soothing atmosphere that's set to captivate and enchant dance floors and festivals in the summer to come and beyond, we're comfortable saying his remix is a future Vivrant classic.
