Ya Favorite Homie JR is an Electro-Pop recording artist/DJ out of the New England area (Maine). "YFH JR" offers a very fun party sound with hype clever lyrics over primarily electronic beats. His energy and charisma on stage really separate him form the pack. JR's story is a rather inspirational one. He grew up against all odds with a difficult child hood. A child hood surrounded in alcohol, drugs, and even domestic violence. While his mother and father where very loving, it was at times a hectic troubling atmosphere for him and his little sister. YFH JR grew up straight-edge as a result of this, and gives thanks his step-father Tim for introducing him to hip-hop music. JR's biggest influence is the multi-talented Will Smith. Other influences include various acts between Run DMC to Sammy Adams. From LL Cool J, to acts such as Hyper Crush. Bottom line, JR is an entertainer to the tenth degree.
