Yahya Bassal was born in 1986 in Karlsruhe, Germany. He is a singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. 

Since Yahya was young, he always had an affinity for nasheeds, Islamic songs, and playing percussion. He has since gone on to perform at concerts in Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Morocco, Tunisia, USA, Canada, Lebanon, and where he currently lives, Germany. 

Yahya's direction of musical style has always been highly influenced by the Islamic tradition and contemporary social affairs, and he always thanks God that his songs and performances have been heard far and wide, as Yahya's aim has always been to soften the hearts of listeners to his work and encourage them to what is right.

Yahya continues to utilise his songs as a means for guidance and a beacon of moderation, which can be found freely online.
