Bronx born and raised rapper YAHYA RICH is an artist with a sound and a vision beyond borders. His lyrical brilliance combined with a gritty, street flow takes the listener on a journey that transcends the dimensions of time and space; whether you’re in Accra, London or New York City, the timelessness of his music promises to have you vibing. 

Describing himself as a ‘student of the game’, YAHYA’s music almost always carries the sound of Victory. When writing, he allows the beat to speak to him before he speaks back - this is exactly how his debut single PAYCATIONS was born.  Yahya Rich is inspired by artists such as Jay Z, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Future and PARTYNEXTDOOR because of the energy they can bring to people through their music, and hopes to curate a similar energy through his own music. His listeners describe his vibe as the perfect mix of ‘cool, calm and fly’ which is evident through his laidback and friendly in-person nature. 

Even though he is inspired by his environment and other artists, Yahya is determined to not follow the wave. He is confident in his lyrical ability which comes from his background in writing poetry and allows him to express himself in a way that not many people can.
After 5 years in the game, Yahya Rich is gearing up to launch his project THE WILL OF FIRE (?) which will be a 4-part EP that takes us through the evolution of music and his journey as an artist. He promises that he won’t just give us one sound, but an abundance of sounds, flows, beats and features which is guaranteed to bring you limitless vibes.
