Yakawrath, also known as Fira, is a talented experimental psytrance artist hailing from the tropical paradise of the Maldives. Born as Mohamed Firash, he discovered his passion for music at a young age and began his journey as a rock and roller in 2008. He co-founded the band Wagon Park in Sri Lanka and became a prominent figure in the local music scene.

In 2017, Fira attended the Atman festival in Sri Lanka and was introduced to the world of faster-paced electronic music, particularly darkpsy. This experience changed his life and set him on a new path as an experimental psytrance artist.

Since then, Fira has an arsenal of music and releases, signing up with prestigious record labels such as Voodoo Hoodoo Records, Lucy Forest Records, and Nightmare 420 Crew. His music is known for its unique blend of psychedelic soundscapes and driving beats, taking listeners on a journey through the depths of their consciousness.

In addition to his successful career as a musician, Fira is also the founder of Maldivian record label Valu Records, which showcases some of the best underground electronic music from the Maldives and beyond. With his dedication to pushing the boundaries of electronic music and his passion for spreading positive vibes,
