Monumental times have arrived for Steyoyoke Recordings, as they venture into unchartered waters. This new project accumulates for years of hard work and marks the release of their very first album titled ‘Equilibrium’. The Steyoyoke artists are united within a unique concept, that utilises the four classical elements of fire, air, water and earth, bringing you a creative expression that reflects a state of balance between art, music and the natural elements. Trip to NYC is a tight huge track of futuristic House Music that perfectly follows his latest works on Sincopat. The track presents an unpredictable and surprising sound, taking you to new paths of the electronic music road. Darlyn Vlys remix takes the trip of Piek to a deeper direction; the French torero offers his particular High- class production rework. His version presents cinematic landscapes and an extra emotional touch to the track. With Sigiriya Piek shows he has no fear to explore new possibilities of structure and rhythm. Being a big fan of Drum and Bass, and other break musical styles, these inspirations reflect on this timeless masterpiece. This Sigiriya has been remixed by talented Dutch man Kid Culture, amazing producer and one of the best Dj that the Netherlands have seen, delivers here an analogue sound delicatessen, strong influenced by classic house and techno.

Welcome back, old friend! It's been quite a while since Valencia-based producer Sylvain Soulier, better known as Darlyn Vlys first appeared on the Upon You Sweet & Sour Series back in 2010 and a lot has happened since then. Now, backed by releases on well respected labels like Sincopat, Terminal M and many others, it's time for Darlyn Vlys to make a big return, serving a massive TechHouse anthem for 2016. The original version of „Colours“ fuses big room TechHouse, a slightly proggy feel and ever morphing Acid references to a great, spiralling and well-enthralling effect, building up nicely before Forrest serves a killer vocal performance that is yet simple, powerful and fascinating, an anthemic array of words that a new generation of punters will never forget once they've heard them on a large rig. Instant classic detected. Our man Ruede Hagelstein strips down things a little in his remix, focusing on the techier, cleaner and more scientific side of the TechHouse spectrum and coming up with a hypnotizing minimalist Acid version backed by an effective two tone, Intelligent Techno-resembling bass and nice floating synth arrangements to be loved by tech purists for a reason. Finally the young German producer Tim Engelhardt is going deep with his version, focusing on gooey, all embracing sawtooth bass beauty and a crystalline, melancholia-inducing motif layered on top of  decent beat foundation gravitating towards uptempo realms for the small hours.

German mainstay Kölsch has had a thunderous few years , fully establishing himself as a worldwide force to be reckoned with. His piano-drenched techno has been slaying sound-systems the world over and even after two incredible albums via Kompakt, we reckon the best is still yet to come. 

His remix of 'Trouble At The Séance' is deep, dark and full of lazer-beam synths that zip in-and-out of focus. Not much can be said about this one other than it's an absolute stormer and it's going to do some serious damage this summer.

Hot on the heels of the monster release of “Mutter” on Gerd Janson’s Running Back, Konstantin Sibold has delivered an acid remix for the Danish experimental pop band WhoMadeWho.

The original song, an infectious 3-minute pop ballad has been mutated and stretched out into a pulsating acid track, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Tomas Høffding’s vocals sit proudly over a thumping kick drum and result in 7 minutes of potent, almost ominous club music that sits resolutely at the low end of the pH scale.
