I decided to start this new mix series and "Podcast".
I am getting sick of never uploading new mixes for you ear holes!
My main focus here is not to create full length prepared sets.
I'm really looking to play a lot of stuff that might not see the light of play live.
Stuff that may or may not be what I want this YAK project to reflect.
Here we shall mainly focus on as many releases as possible, polished or rusted, short or long, of ANY genre. That being said.....

YAK are pretty big in Tibet.
This new mix series is based on that notion
...and that notion alone.

Their dried droppings are an important fuel, used all over Tibet, and are often the only fuel available on the high treeless Tibetan Plateau. Yaks transport goods across mountain passes for local farmers and traders as well as for climbing and trekking expeditions. "Only one thing makes it hard to use yaks for long journeys in barren regions. They will not eat grain, which could be carried on the journey. They will starve unless they can be brought to a place where there is grass." They also are used to draw ploughs. Yak's milk is often processed to a cheese called chhurpi in Tibetan and Nepali languages, and byaslag in Mongolia. Butter made of yak's milk is an ingredient of the butter tea that Tibetans consume in large quantities, and is also used in lamps and made into butter sculptures used in religious festivities.

Welcome to episode 002 of Big In Tibet! 

On today's episode; we try to reach the almighty "Rave Level 10". 
Coincidentally, you also die once you reach this stage of enlightenment...
The least you can do is try and have some fun along the way... Right?

Yak is a close relative of buffalo and bison. 
There are two species of yaks: domesticated and wild. 
These two differ in size and appearance. 
Wild yaks inhabit alpine meadows and steppes of central Asia. 
90% of all known yaks can be found in Tibetan Plateau in the Himalayas. 
Yaks are highly appreciated because of their fur, fatty milk, meat and dung (which is used as a fuel). 
Number of domesticated yaks is stable. 
Unfortunately, number of wild yaks is decreased due to habitat loss and excessive hunting. 
Wild yaks are listed as vulnerable (nearly endangered). 

Interesting Yak Facts:

- Yak is a large animal. Domesticated yaks are smaller than the wild type. On average, wild male yak can reach height of 6.5 feet at the shoulder and weigh of 2200 pounds. Females are three times smaller than males.  
 
-Yaks have long, bushy tails which are used for the production of fake beards in certain Chinese theaters.  

-Body of yak is covered with thick, wooly coat. It can be brown, black or white in color. Main purpose of the fur is preservation of the body heat and protection against low outer temperatures.  

-Wild yaks have longer fur than domesticated types. Thanks to the fur, wild yaks can survive temperature of -40 degrees of Celsius during the winter. They are also able to swim in the nearly frozen waters without disturbing normal body temperature.

Tripp In Time... 2015, The Year Twerk Died

The audio transcript representation of *INTERMISSION*
We are half way through this uninteresting theatrical escapade.

Act I (Diagnosis): Complete Fracture of (5th) Metacarpal in Right Hand. Bone and pinky finger at 90 degree inward offset.

Act II (Procedure): Render patient unconscious, twist bones 90 degrees, realign into a healing position...
Insert 2.5 inch metal rod in parallel with remaining bone fragments, for good measure. (Assure patient of the healing benefits)

*INTERMISSION*

Act III (Follow Up): After 6 weeks time has passed, patient will return for removal of magical healing spike.
Removal requirements: Strong stomach, Sterile Needle Nose Pliers, stern anti-anesthesia viewpoint (Removing hand length metal rod from patient does not qualify as an "operation"), little or no-remorse.

Act IV (Final Examination): After another 6 weeks of wearing a brace, let the patient know everything looks good. Be sure to crack a couple jokes to ease the tension. Make sure patient knows you mentioned that 100% returned movement and mobility was not possible. (Maybe make another half-ass wisecrack, as the patient leaves the office for the final visit.
