let's all do it again!
we catched a lot of love and fun in the friday evening sun with sin family at the beach.
but even when almost everything is perfect, sometimes something goes wrong. unfortunately our live recording crashed because of less turntable grounding (although they were properly grounded to the mixer we had some bad background noise).
so we decided to do it again. 
for your pleasure: a love thang with the same setting, memories of an absolute evening, smooth and lazy.

Der heutige Künstler den ich euch mit Freude präsentieren will, wohnt auf der kleinen Insel Brännö in Schweden. Auf „högt i tak“ bin ich über den Musikliebhaber TantRut aufmerksam gemacht worden, der ebenfalls auf dieser Insel wohnt … da gibt es anscheinend ein Nest. 

Janne ist in den ganz frühen Jahren der Rave-Bewegung zur elektronischen Musik gekommen. Bei seinen Reisen durch Indien landete er dann auch irgendwann in GOA und ist dort in der damaligen Acid-Szene für immer versunken. Ende der 80er, Anfang der 90er Jahre war Goa-Sound noch kein 180bpm Geschrube wie heute … sondern einen Mischung aus BodyMusic, NewBeat und ItaloDisco. Und Jeanne hat in den letzten Jahren festgestellt, dass viele der musikalischen Einflüsse von damals heute wieder die elektronische Musik beeinflussen. So hat högt i tak seinen ganz eigenen Sound entwickelt --- „Trailer techno with a pinch of psychedelic disco and acid masala“

Für sound(ge)cloud hat sich Jeanne genau diesem Sound verschrieben und eine wunderbare 1,5 stündige Reise durch die Geschichte der elektronischen Musik kreiert. 

Janne ich bin sehr froh das uns die Musik zusammengeführt hat und ich bin gespannt was daraus noch entstehen wird. 

So und nun liebe Hörer wünsch ich euch viel Freude bei högt i tak und seiner Trailer Trash Disco.

ABOUT Mehr is Mehr:

Vera and Rosalie first met in 2013. In the folllowing two years they discovered the techno scene of Berlin. They heard and saw a lot, always standing in the first line with their hearts on the beat. They didn’t even try to resist the beauty of techno music and decided to buy a really old Traktor controller. After a while they started to play at birthday parties of friends and their friends. One day the old controller crashed and they bought - coupled with a lot of sweat- a new one. That was the point in the history of Mehr is Mehr when they started to do it in a more focused and serious way than ever before. Some months later they had their first Club gig at Birgit & Bier (4.6.16). The following year was crazy enough. They entered Berlin clubs like Ritter Butzke, Kultstätte Keller and Kosmonaut. They had the chance to play at the awesome place called "Gängeviertel“ in Hamburg. Around the same time, Nicorus started with his Techno/Psyparty "Les enfants d’la cave“ and invited them to be part of his crew.  As if this year wasn't crazy enough, their biggest dream of spinning at Hammahalle at Sisyphos came true! By the way: Hammahalle was the place where Mehr is Mehr got their name about two years ago. Looking back to the past summer filled with techno and festivals like "Wilde Möhre Festival“ and "Oewerall Festival“, it feels like this can’t be true. Mehr is Mehr is now part of the Wuzacrew, which offers an exchange in many ways. There’s still no end to see, as you may suspect: Mehr is Mehr.

Music from one of the most beautiful mornings of my life. Thank you to everyone who danced into this perfect day with me.. 
Having been going to Fusion for 10 years, this was a dream come true and I probably never was so excited and nervous before a set. Although I imagined how it hopefully would be, the moment itself exceeded my expectations and I just couldn't stop smiling. I feel very grateful that my vision of what a sunrise at Fusion can sound like resonated so well with you all.. 
Please excuse the occasional audio glitches - there was a voltage problem with the mixer which made the audio cut out at random moments. There aren't too many of those though :)
