“It has been a huge honour working on the operation disco album compilation for Z Records which has been on my radar for three decades now and is possibly my favourite House & Disco label. Dave Lee is a big inspiration to me as his 1991 Single 'Do What You Feel' was one of the first records to appear in my DJ sets in my earliest days as a working DJ 30 years ago.
In 2013 I started to produce music under the 'Dr Packer' name and when I began doing the occasional remix for Z Records, I never imagined it would end up resulting in an album project. To be able to work on cover versions of some of my all-time favourite soul & disco songs such as 'You Can't Run From My Love' and some of my all-time favourite vocalists such as Leroy Burgess it is really a dream come true.
Dave Lee is an easy guy to work with and is always open to my suggestions which resulted in me remixing one of my all-time favourite tracks of his ‘Love Fantasy' which is also now three decades old. Not to mention possibly my favourite single from his 'Destination Boogie' compilation, the 80's underground classic 'Colors - Am I Gonna Be The One’ plus two brand new mixes of The Sunburst Band. Making this a very exciting album project with plenty of exclusives and re-masters of my older releases, not to mention my favourite gems from the amazing Z Records back catalogue.” – Greg Packer

Inspired by Larry Levan, Fontana went on to play at Studio 54 in the late 80’s and now DJ's globally at clubs worldwide. 'Fire' has been whipping dance floor's into a total disco frenzy all summer and is now ready to ignite once more!

One of the most consistent DJ’s on the circuit, every weekend you’ll find him rocking the dance floor at clubs & festivals around the globe including Glitterbox, Lovebox, Ministry Of Sound, Horse Meat Disco, Love International. He’s featured on line ups with the world’s finest selectors including Greg Wilson, Joey Negro, Melvo Baptiste, Tiger & Woods, Purple Disco Machine & Danny Krivit.

Ambitious & tirelessly active alongside his partner in crime Tom Laroye they are signed to Glitterbox Recordings as Qwestlife. Having already released 2 chart busting singles ‘Give Me A Minute’ &  ‘Hit It Off’ they are set to unleash their block party rocker ‘Fever’ feat Sugarhill Gang, Melle Mel, Scorpio & Siedah Garrett. 

Behind the creation of 3 record labels Midnight Riot, Black Riot & Ism, theyl have a diversity of sounds with a line-up of producers, DJ’s including the world’s finest Eli Escobar, Ron Basejam, Lenny Fontana, John Morales and many more. Since 2016 he’s been the Mixmag disco editor, providing a cutting edge platform for the disco, boogie & house modern scene, not forgetting his production touches for the legendary NYC disco band Odyssey. Following on in 2016 he released & co produced with Detroit’s Amp Fiddler’s their critically acclaimed album ‘Motor City Booty’. 

Over the years he’s added disco fever to Grace Jones (PIAS), John Legend (Sony Records) Josh Stone (Virgin Records). His party led productions have been released on Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Ubiquity and with Joey Negro’s Z Records as Yam Who? & Jaegerossa ‘Grateful’ featuring Jacqui George, not forgetting one of biggest Traxsource Top 100 tunes of 2018, Dubplate Disco’s  ‘Pick Up’ (Yam Who edit). To round off 2019 look out for the forthcoming remixes compilation on Midnight Riot.
