'Yama Surreal is a Hiphop artist Born in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), EC. currently residing in the City of Durban, KZN.  His music consists of HipHop and Rnb sounds that contain a smooth upbeat and sometimes hype vibe that is complimented by his thought provoking punchlines.

At an early age 'Yama Surreal loved performing through dancing and acting on stage, this love transitioned into music early 2015 and it's been his therapeutic outlet ever since. He had always been inspired by old school hiphop, early 20's hiphop, rnb, soul and afro-soul music. 

However what inspires the music 'Yama Surreal makes is an observation on the state of mind of humans beings, environments we live in, conditions and challenges he and others face in modern time.
