Woz Supposedly: This is one of my favorite pieces of music I've ever done, and I don't think anyone quite digs it like I do. It's supposed to sound like early 80's TV drama theme. That kind of washed-out post-disco action show feeling. on VHS. I took a Yamaha V-50 FM synth and set the electric piano sound so the sustain was all the way up, so it can hold notes like an organ but attack like a piano. Then, I made the aftertouch do a slight pitch-bend up when I press the keys hard, like I'm breaking it.  The synth has a tremolo going on perfectly to the beat, I had a simple trick for that. before midi existed, in order to sync time, the old CR-5000 drum machine I used in this song had a 5v pulse out, which I used to control a reed relay, which then shorted out the signal from the keyboard, which muted it. This pulse of muting was like a square-wave tremolo synced to the beat.

Dancefloor Figherpilot Ranger II

An improv live jamb pile of pretty loops and chord clouds to chill and be groovy to. Halfway through, we are interrupted by whining robots built to resemble generic 20-somethings investigating a local music scene after having moved there a year ago from another town. ALSO IT'S THE YEAR 2514... 500 YEARS IN THE FUTURE!
