One of the drum and bass scene biggest prospects is back once again on Yamatai. with over 10 years worth of production underneath his belt. February 2024 marked his debut ep release 'Attraction Complex'. 3 beautifully written, powerful tracks that did not go unseen, landing this newcomer a top 5 spot in the drum and bass charts on his first release.

Not only this but also securing overwhelming support from icons NOISIA and many more genre legends. His name since then has spread wide across the scene due to his unique and experimental approach to his music writing which has made him stand out from the rest. Using emotion as a big driving force in his creative process this artist is for us one of the most exciting prospects around.

He is back once again this year with arguably his most impressive and challenging project to date.

We welcome back Rue with his debut Mini Album 'Parallel Introspection' a 7 track showcase pushing Rue's creative boundaries featuring 4 collabs from Acris, Dub Ten, M2K and Pseuro.

Second to last release of 2025 and it’s a full blown Yamatai core family affair, 4 of our most celebrated artists have combined to bring you a two tracker single that oozes the Yamatai sound to a T.

Get ready, the Yamatai avengers have assembled. After our first writers camp within label last year core artists Leks, Speaker Louis, R3IDY and Chamba combined forces over the weekend to forge our first writers camp release. After a weekend of laughs, beer and pizza followed by further amendments and collaboration they can finally present their joint two track single Late Night Antics and Jungle Survival!!!

4 artists who have been major cogs in the Yamatai machine over the last couple of years, this release is a straight family motive. One of our main focuses of this project was to ensure that the tracks accurately represented each one of their styles. And the final product blew us away. A perfect merge of leks' hard hitting snappy drums all the way to Chamba's eccentric talents on atmospherics and vibe. The jungle flavours backed by our very own king of France Speaker Louis followed by R3IDYS immaculate skill of adding flare and groove, these two tracks have been getting some serious testing by the whole Yamatai crew and we've heard nothing but good things.

Together they have created one of the highlight releases on the Yamatai catalogue for 2025 and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

Across 21 releases, we’ve showcased some of the very best emerging drum & bass talent from every corner of the globe. And this closing chapter of the year is no exception. This time, we shine the spotlight on one very special artist who has been part of the Yamatai family for over two years, an artist who has not just been an artist for the label but also the backbone within our events team too...

This artist's dedication paid off with her debut release back in November 2024. Now, one year later, she returns with her most ambitious project yet, a three track EP that captures her sound, her growth as a producer, and her unmistakable love for drum & bass. Each track is a testament to the time, creativity, and heart she has poured into her production journey over the last two years.

We are over the moon to present VOXI’s biggest project to date the Sensory Overload EP ft. Leks and Mindset.

VOXI stands as one of the brightest rising talents in Drum & Bass. As a DJ, she’s graced the stages of Blackout, Overview, LFLF, Liquicity and Curated by. Determined to evolve even further, she took the leap into production, opened up Ableton, and began carving out a sound that is unmistakably hers bold, fierce, and full of character.

We have no doubt that VOXI is set to sit proudly at the forefront of the newcomer wave, a true inspiration to many and a powerful role model for women across the drum & bass scene.

We believe in her, we believe in her sound, and we couldn’t be more excited to witness her journey continue to blossom.

As we enter our 5th year of running as a label, w have been working tirelessly over the previous 6 months to put together the perfect release schedule to highlight our sound and also push the artists we love while kicking things off the way we ended last year… With some unique forward-thinking music from some of the best new comers around.

And we have not here to disappoint…

We welcome back a familiar face to the label after his impressive debut ‘The First Step’ last November in collaboration with core artist Fearful, the Colombia powerhouse Brain is back on the imprint with his first official project ‘Riot Funk / Desespero’ featuring none other than our very own French prince and all time jungle bad man Speaker Louis and fellow Colombia compadre Novaglitch.

The Dispatch & Sofa Sound veteran has been causing a lot of noise within the vast realm of the drum and bass scene over the last 12 years. Juan has been a prim figure of the new age newcomer scene due to his complete understanding of track writing and musicality. Sticking out like a glaring light on a dark day his use of ‘Acid’ elements perfectly mix with his acute skill of drum work and groove creating an ear pleasing final product.

This release is nothing short of just that, Two tracks that really take you on two different sonic adventures, perfectly blending all the styles of the artists involved. From ‘Riot Funk’ featuring lots of jungle influence will maintaining a very minimalist / steppy approach to ‘Desespero’ blending in acid flavours with a hint of techy goodness.

Working with Brain we knew that the tracks we would sign would not be classed as the ‘norm’, they would be genre bending and bursting with musicality and creativity and Juan did just that. A release we are very proud of and a project that fits perfectly with our ethos and sound.

Another year and another forthcoming feature from Yamatai’s Label Manager and core artist Kalane.The Reading based producer has been very busy since his last solo project feature back in May 2024, with key releases on labels such as Sofa Sound, Skankandbass and Delta 9 Recordings, The experienced producer has been soaring up the ranks in popularity capturing fans all around the world with his incredibly unique sound presence which is arguably his best secret weapon. We have to give props to Kalane as he has really nailed the ‘find your own sound’ element already even though he is still so early in his career in Drum and Bass. You know a Kalane tune when you hear It and that is why he is gaining attention from labels and fellow producer alike.

With his biggest year to date last year Josh has set sights on making 2025 an even bigger year, working hard in the studio and stacking up his unsigned folder ready to reach even higher heights. Conversations with labels such as Truth Hertz, Drippyboi, The Sauce and many more 2025 could be the year that truly propels him into the spotlight.Balfouri was his last solo project featuring fellow upcomer Acris, this release was well received across the circuit with feed back and support from fellow peers and idols making this a very memorable release for Josh. This saw Kalane really experiment with the ‘Jump Up’ minimal fusion helping him to gauge the reception for this musical hybrid of styles. ‘His latest single with us ‘Flares / Fractures’ is a homage to Kalane’s undeniably unique sound and a showcase of Josh’s best work to date. It's that time of the year again, after having some rest bite after his debut album 'Parallel Introspection' one of the most exciting up comers is back with his debut release in 2025...

We're proud to welcome back Rue a core artist of the Yamatai family who only joined us just over a year ago and has since made remarkable strides within the Drum & Bass scene. Following the success of his debut mini-album Parallel Introspection, which boldly pushed his creative boundaries, Rue returns to the imprint with a powerful two-track single Come On / Repeat.

A production journey so far that has been nothing short of exceptional. With both an album and an EP already under his belt each receiving critical acclaim, top chart placements, and support from some of the most respected names and labels in the Drum & Bass sphere. Rue continues to raise the bar each and every time. With a forthcoming release on Domain also on the horizon, Rue is clearly just getting started.

This project delivers two sheik and addictive club cuts that further pushes Rue’s growing reputation in the genre. Both tracks reflect the label’s sonic identity with precision showcasing stripped-back minimalism, high-energy roller elements, and, of course, Rue’s unmistakable flair for complex bass design written in unique rhythmic structures.

A true Yamatai legend and someone we’re incredibly proud to represent, Rue is an artist whose sound, vision, and work ethic deserve every bit of recognition.

A name rapidly gaining recognition across the Drum & Bass landscape, TER3NCE has been making steady waves with recent releases on respected imprints such as Love For Low Frequencies earning support from key tastemakers and fellow producers alike. A core artist within the Yamatai family, his return marks an exciting new chapter in his artistic evolution.

First introduced to the label on our Genesis VA project in 2024 with his standout track Eruption with fellow producer friend Descemet, TER3NCE immediately turned heads with his tech-driven, detail-rich production style. Now, he takes things further with Irresolute / Subterranean — a refined and forward-leaning two-tracker that showcases both his technical skill and creative range.

The release also features a collaboration with long-time friend Abstract, adding extra depth and contrast to the project’s atmospheric yet dancefloor-focused sound. Crisp drums, dynamic energy, and precision engineering define both tracks, positioning TER3NCE as one of the Netherlands’ most promising new voices in Drum & Bass.

With momentum clearly on his side, this release marks just the beginning of what promises to be a compelling journey ahead.

We are over the moon to welcome rising force Manikin to the label in 2025 with his bold debut appearance on Yamatai Records featuring none other that Drum & Bass royalty in the name of Invadhertz with their forthcoming single "Waste No Time / End Of Time"

Emerging from the vibrant electronic music scene of Perth, Australia Manikin has been lurking under the radar for quite some time now. Since surfacing in the global drum & bass sphere with his debut release back in 2018 featuring MC Sense, Chris has been on a path of progression and development. Producing a range of iconic tracks such as "Firepower" & "Iron Mind" and releasing on some of the leading underground labels such as SkankandBass, Ekou and Delta 9.

Now, with Manikin’s debut release on Yamatai, featuring returning artists Invadhertz who have already left their mark on the Yamatai imprint with their remix of "You know", marks a thrilling blend of artistry and intent. Two track that seamlessly blend deep liquid elements paired with ear pleasing rifts in "Waste No time" and on the B side a club focused tune that swings in deep with plenty of 30hertz power in the name of "End Of Time"

Across 21 releases, we’ve showcased some of the very best emerging drum & bass talent from every corner of the globe. And this closing chapter of the year is no exception. This time, we shine the spotlight on one very special artist who has been part of the Yamatai family for over two years, an artist who has not just been an artist for the label but also the backbone within our events team too...

This artist's dedication paid off with her debut release back in November 2024. Now, one year later, she returns with her most ambitious project yet, a three track EP that captures her sound, her growth as a producer, and her unmistakable love for drum & bass. Each track is a testament to the time, creativity, and heart she has poured into her production journey over the last two years.

We are over the moon to present VOXI’s biggest project to date the Sensory Overload EP ft. Leks and Mindset.

VOXI stands as one of the brightest rising talents in Drum & Bass. As a DJ, she’s graced the stages of Blackout, Overview, LFLF, Liquicity and Curated by. Determined to evolve even further, she took the leap into production, opened up Ableton, and began carving out a sound that is unmistakably hers bold, fierce, and full of character.

We have no doubt that VOXI is set to sit proudly at the forefront of the newcomer wave, a true inspiration to many and a powerful role model for women across the drum & bass scene.

We believe in her, we believe in her sound, and we couldn’t be more excited to witness her journey continue to blossom.
