• 📖 -> Growing up in Paris, New York, and Montréal, Yambow has been heavily influenced by the sounds of hip-hop, house, and soul to seamlessly blend these genres and create a unique but yet infectious sound. Producer as well as DJ, he infuses his live sets with improvisation using his guitar. 

As resident DJ of the french house music collective Marbré, he became more familiar with the electronic music scene building his experience at venues like Le Badaboum, Le Mazette, le YOYO, or also Nublu (NYC).

One Way Ticket (feat. AVC)

Enjoy that summer nostalgia 🌞

I composed this song with memories of the summer in mind, bringing back souvenirs of a time where we could still dance together. This nostalgic feeling is enhanced with the lofi vibe of the sax and the guitar, while being contrasted with the hopeful vocals reminding the audience that this era “Ain’t Over”. I chose to incorporate an acid line within the chorus to bring back memories of what we used to dance to in Paris last summer, pushing the deep house track in a bit more experimental vibe.
Special mention to homies Rachel Gram and AVC that you hear both throughout the track. 
I hope this song will make you feel as nostalgic and optimistic about what’s next as me.
