I see her eyes fully open and engaged to her new expression.  This set channels that feeling of revelation and curiosity. It starts off as a gentle breeze, only to quickly gain momentum and purpose. LP #61 includes tracks from Jan Blomqvist, Tom MIsch, Yves Maraca, Jamie Jones, Band & Dos, Alex Cruz, and Dario D'Attis.

Quirky sounds and happy vibrations is the name of the game when it comes to our youngest resident Matt Trujillo. As nephew of camp director and community builder Joe Trujillo, Matt has been a focal point of our Burning Man operations for a long long time. This year at camp he started the week off strong with his joyful Monday set and we are proud to debut it as our special holiday edition.

Preparing for this event I was completely unaware that the format I chose had never been done. It took a lot of technical logistics but it was totally worth it and thankfully there were no glitches. The hotspot kept working, the battery didn't run out, the sunset was perfect, and most importantly, the crowd was very aware and respectful of the distancing policies. 

Of course, after everything NYC has been through over the past months, you would expect this awareness, and it was heartwarming to see everyone strike such a good balance between being together, dancing, and still keeping their distance and their masks on. 

I played from 6pm until sunset (8:30pm) and the output of my mixer was streamed to my website. Everyone in attendance picked up the stream in their own way. Some brought small speakers, other brought bigger speakers, and many people listened on their headphones. But without big main speakers there was no center of gravity for the event, making everyone very comfortable to spread out of the beautiful open space in Prospect Park. And then the cream on top was the amazing vocal curation by @elliott-larue-1
