MoDem Festival‬ in Croatia is widely considered one of the best, and most important, festivals on the psytrance calendar. It’s influence on the festival scene cannot be understated. When I started making this music, I promised myself that, before I was 30, I wanted to play on the Hive stage. Well, 5 days before my 30th birthday, I had the honour of doing just that. It did not disappoint, and it was the best dancefloor I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.

I decided early on that this was where I was going to debut my new album (forthcoming soon on Bom Shanka Music) and record the entire set. So, here it is – the full video of my set on Thursday 8th August 13:30-15:00 on the Hive.

Thank you to everyone that danced, everyone that filmed and everyone that gave me emotional support in the stress of finishing the tracks before the gig! A huge thank you to Valentino Vert3x,  Tomislav, Mike, Val, Bom Shanka Music, Wildthings Records crew and everyone that made my week the best ever!

The axis mundi is a cosmologic concept of shamanic origin, which can also be found in many religions and philosophies. It stands for the cosmic axis or world tree and is considered the world center- a connection between the three worlds. A celestial pole, where the four cardinal directions meet, and where the correspondence is made between higher and lower realms.
It can be a natural object like a mountain (for example Kailash, Meru, Mount Zion, Uluru, Kunlun, Mount Olympus), a plant for example a tree or vine, or something manmade like a ladder, a maypole, a totem pole or even a religious site like a temple, an altar, or pagoda etc.
Plants often serve as images of the axis mundi. The image of the tree provides an axis symbol that unites three planes: sky (branches), earth (trunk) and underworld (roots).
The Yggdrasil (World Ash) functions in much the same way in Norse mythology; or Thor’s Oak in pre Christian Germanic mythology. In Hindu religion, the banyan tree plays a similar role. Also the biblical Tree of Knowledge and Tree of Life show similar features.
In Mircea Eliade's opinion, "Every Microcosm, every inhabited region, has a Centre; that is to say, a place that is sacred above all”
The Axis Mundi symbol originates in a natural and universal psychological perception: that the spot one occupies stands at "the center of the world”. 
In the shamanic concept, and a universally told story, is that of the healer traversing the axis mundi (or cosmic ladder) to other ralms to bring back knowledge in order to find the lost soul and therefore proceed with his healing work. He is the intermediary between these worlds and it is one of his main traits and abilities to master them and find orientation in all three worlds.

Here is a new set by Vantara Vichitra Records’ artist, FOREST BAMP!

Bam Verdugo a.k.a Forest Bamp was born in Madrid, and he’s currently living on Barcelona.
After going to some electronic underground parties, he got introduce to the psychedelic trance music ,and felt in love with it. He visited his first psytrance party in 2010, ever since his life completely changed, he found a place where everything was possible.
After visitings many parties and as a music freak, he started to collect the music he was finding no the web, and trying to express what psychedelic means for him through groovie and atmospheric Dj sets. In the same team, he start to make parties in his own town, Madrid, with the collective Ritual. In this parties you could find the most fresh and underground music in the psytrance scene. In 2015 he signs the Indian label Vantara Vichitra and starts to travel around expreding the word.
Since he started DJing, his music curiosity started to grow, and in 2017 he began to create and develop his own music, to create his own story. Some years after he he has released music in labels such as Vantara Vichitra Records, Urban Antidote Records or The cure, and visited countries like Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, U.K or Belgium playing his music.
In his performance, you can expect the unexpected and travel into places that no one has been before. Groovie basslines, deep atmospheres and eclectic leads will accompany you through the trip! Enjoy the Journey!

Synthetik Chaos is Yan, a French psytrance music producer ,His influences come from differents kinds of music (mainly electronical) such as: Aphex Twin, Slide, Richard Devine, Nick Taylor, Ministry, Droid Sect, Sonic Youth etc........
 all this influences & many experimentations in the lab results in a combination of heavy twisted basslines & electroid rhythms, psychedelics soundz & weird noises, with always in mind to keep the dance floor as a recreation ground!

He has already released some tracks on several labels including, Pixan, peak,sangoma, and has collaborated with some killa artists such as Rev ,Electrypnose, Dirty Saffi, asimilon.... he perform in many countries in europe & around the globe(japan,usa,russia,costa rica,canada,brazil,mexico,cyprus,dubai,uk,germany,italy,croatia etc..... ) his debut  album Kagura was released in 2019 on bom shanka music his home label since 10 years !
his second album "Geometries Variables" will be out the 26th of april 2024 on Bom Shanka Music
