After an incredibly successful 2020 and the release of label-head Toronto Is Broken's third critically acclaimed third album "Clare", YANA Music continues their momentum into 2021.

2021 brings a fresh aesthetic and batch of artists for YANA, beginning with young UK-based producer Corrupted Mind. First featured on last year's YANA2020 album, Corrupted Mind returns with his first of many solo singles on the label, the heavyweight "Disengage".

A straight soundsystem-shaker, Corrupted Mind manages to incorporate jump up and neurofunk flavours into his dancefloor sound, not only showing his versatility and broad range of influence as a producer, but also offering something new to the YANA Music camp.

Volatile Cycle & Dropset - Hoodrat [Premiere]

2021 has been YANA Music's busiest and biggest year to date without question. First set up in 2019 by UK Dancefloor producer Toronto Is Broken as an output to release solely his own work after parting ways with Viper Recordings has blossomed into something so much more. This year alone had 1.7million streams across 22 releases from 27 different artists, including the original release of Toronto Is Broken's third album "Clare", kickstarting the metal / DnB crossover sound we associate him with now.
You Are Not Alone Music, or "YANA Music" for short, truly lives up to it's name, building a solid family of artists showcasing the wide spectrum of Dancefloor Drum & Bass. Just like last year's YANA2020 album, YANA2021 is a true showcase of this sound featuring faces both old and new. As year's album debuted releases from YANA mainstays Corrupted Mind and Mojay, 2021 features a new batch of fresh faces such as Jakzman, Daida & Sam Foxx, alongside core YANA artists MYKOOL, Lateral, Battletek and Perplex.

The airborne servants of Odin encircled the earth, their ever-watchful synthetic eyes cast down at the servile humans below. So simple, without knowledge of their essential place in the greater sphere – the victims of relentless experimentation as their genes were cast and engineered, their greatest warriors brutally locked with primitive force against one another, as splice after splice refined their innermost nature into a limitless purity of violence. They gave up their eyes in the quest for real vision, gave up their souls to match the black pits of their sockets, twisted and contorted in an endless orgy of bloodshed until only the strongest remained. They who were blind to their humanity, stripped of virtue, naked against the vast heavens above, enshrouded in the entrails of their enemies. In the aftermath of each assault, under the watchful eyes of their offworld shepherds, they gathered their strength again and prepared for the next INVASION.

The DUB ELEMENTS duo return to the expansive EATBRAIN label in force, following up their 2 track pincer movement with ‘POW’ and ‘Shots Fired’ on the Mirror Universe compilation with their first full release - the INVASION EP. With a rich and heavy background in the dark arts of harder drum and bass, the five tracks within are designed with the pure intent of knocking the hell out of the rave. Featuring fellow Spanish producer and Eatbrain alumni KUNG for a sick frenetic beast of a track in SWITCHER, and the emerging capable talents of MANIATICS on the percussion-driven pointed assault of AUTOMATICS - the Invasion EP brings some truly delectable sonic talent to the table.
