A Poem To Space

"The Beyond" is one of the featured tracks from Yang Zhang's award-winning album "The Road To Wutumeiren", depicting a new landscape of cinematic and futuristic Asian atmosphere by blending Asian-oriented folk acoustic instruments, vocal recordings and creative mixing. The whole album including this track just won the 2024 Little Talents Awards gold medal for the Best New Age album.

Particularly for this track, Yang Zhang interpreted the concept of the "afterlife" in an abstract musical way, featuring an aura of Mongolia echo comprised of ethnic vocals, and Mongolia-based folk instrument Matouqin to express a sense of Judaism when abstract music goes beyond the words. The vocal part features the Monglian singer Daiqingtana.
