Duskid ist ein Schweizer DJ und Producer Duo bestehend aus Marc Müller und Dominik Kohler.

Dominik wurde am 28. April 1996, Marc am 12. März 1997 geboren. Beide sind in dem kleinen ländlichen Dorf Künten bei Zürich aufgewachsen.

Dominik produzierte zwischen 2012 und 2014 Minimal unter dem Pseudonym DKLogic. Er hörte nie auf, Minimal zu produzieren, aber sein Fokus verlagerte sich auf Deep und Tech House. Marc dagegen kommt aus dem analogen Musikspektrum. Er kann genauso gut mit der Gitarre umgehen wie mit dem Klavier und verfügt über fundierte Kenntnisse in Musiktheorie. Ihre Kompetenzen ergänzen sich perfekt, was sich in ihren Produktionen manifestiert.

In seinen Minimal-Zeiten spielte Dominik immer wieder elektronische Musik, während er abhing. So kam Marc mit dieser Art von Musik in Berührung. Allerdings war er von diesem Genre überhaupt nicht begeistert. Im Jahr 2013 kam ein neues Genre in der Schweiz auf - Deep House. Auf diese Weise fanden sie ein gemeinsames Interesse und es dauerte nicht lange, bis sie zusammensaßen und ihre eigenen Vibes kreierten.
Zu Beginn produzierte Dominik aufgrund seiner fortgeschrittenen Produktionskompetenzen hauptsächlich selbst. Aber Marc lernte schnell und begann im Sommer 2014 produktiv zu arbeiten.
Sie begannen beide wirklich in dieses Genre einzusteigen und ihre Freunde genossen ihre Musik. Diese beiden Faktoren waren und sind immer noch verantwortlich für die Leidenschaft und Energie, die sie in dieses Projekt einbringen.
Im Dezember 2014 wurde "Stuck With You", eine Zusammenarbeit mit den britischen Geschwistern Sam & Chelsea Watts, geboren. Innerhalb von vier Tagen wurde der "Gefällt mir" -Button mehr als 150 Mal geknackt - ein großer Erfolg für das junge Duo, das ihnen einen weiteren Schub und zusätzliche Motivation gab, weiterzumachen.

Halfpast 4, Tea Time and a new special is on the way. This week with Duskid from Künten in Switzerland.


Duskid is a Swiss DJ and Producer Duo formed by Marc Müller and Dominik Kohler.

Dominik was born on April 28th 1996, Marc on March 12th 1997. They both grew up in the small rural village of Künten near Zurich.

Dominik produced Minimal between 2012 and 2014 under the pseudonym DKLogic. He never completely stopped producing Minimal, but his focus shifted towards Deep and Tech House. Marc on the other hand comes from the analogue spectrum of music. He can handle the guitar just as well as the piano and has a well-founded knowledge in music theory. Their competences complement one another perfectly, which becomes manifest in their productions.

Back in his Minimal times, Dominik always used to play electronic music while hanging out, which is how Marc came in contact with this type of music. However, he wasn't enthusiastic about this genre at all. In the year 2013 a new genre came up in Switzerland – Deep House. That way they found a common interest, and it did not take long until they started to sit together and create their own vibes.
In the beginning, Dominik mainly produced by himself due to his advanced production skills. But Marc was a fast learner and he started to work productive in the summer of 2014.
They both started to really get into this genre and their friends enjoyed their tunes. Those two factors were and are still responsible for the passion and energy they bring into this project.
In December 2014 "Stuck With You", a collaboration with the British siblings Sam & Chelsea Watts, was born. Within four days, the "like"-button had been hit over 150 times – a huge success for the young duo, which gave them another boost and some extra motivation to keep going.
