The music I chose for the set is a journey through my different styles and preferences that I like to combine in a long set.
Sometimes dark and demanding and sometimes trippy und playful. 
For my definition of DJing this is the challenge to tell a story with my music.

The last year was a caesura for the whole electronic music culture worldwide and I hope that we can experience our culture together again soon. 
It is so important and holds our society together and gives people courage and confidence in these difficult times.

For me personally I try to get something positive out of this situation by being in the studio as much as possible. In addition, I am currently building up a lot with our new club label Kiosk ID, which I run together with Mira, and last year we caused quite a stir with our compilations „Give ‚em a future & 43 Katzen tanzen auf’m Tisch“ to save our club Kater Blau in Berlin.

it took me a while to upload this set because that day was the last time i saw our friend bas. he and the shoeless family were the first ones who booked me in holland , and over the years and many parties + festivals we all became close friends. dutch parties wouldn't be the same without him and this beautiful crew.
i still can't really imagine amsterdam and the world without him but i feel like i owe him this recording.

Mit http://soundcloud.com/quarzik begeben wir uns auf die Reise. Die Landschaft zieht anfangs schnell an uns vorbei, wir bestaunen alles was fast schon hektisch an uns vorbei fliegt. Dann das erste Gefälle. Wir werden langsamer, bremsen ab. Es geht in die Tiefe hinab. Druck baut sich auf. Warm umspült er uns. Doch schon geht es wieder den Berg hinauf, auf zum nächsten Gipfel. Licht und pure Lebensfreude erwarten uns dort oben. Als nächstes der Vorort einer Stadt. Die Menschen ströhmen umher. Einige stehen zusammen und erzählen sich etwas mit wild fuchtelnden Händen. Ein letztes Mal hinaus in die Weite durch eine ruhige, fast unwirkliche schneebedeckte Ebene. Melancholie beschleicht uns. Wir sind angekommen. Wir machen die Augen auf und fragen uns: War das nur ein Set? Nein. Es war eine Reise, die uns für kurze Zeit unser Fernweh hat vergessen lassen.
