from within these damp, stone walls. My voice, once bright and full of life, is now little more than a whisper in the echoing abyss of my… *new home*. It all began so innocently. A simple quest for artistry, a desire to capture my likeness on film. I sought a photographer, a purveyor of light and shadow, but fate, it seems, had other, far more sinister plans. The studio door was locked, the photographer absent. Then, she appeared. A vision in obsidian, draped in shadows, a girl cloaked in midnight. She spoke of the photographer’s whereabouts, promising to lead me there. Fool! I was a lamb led to slaughter, a moth drawn to a deadly flame. She was no mere guide, no helpful stranger. She was… a *witch*. A purveyor of dark arts and ancient spells. Her words were like silken threads, weaving a web of deceit. And I, like the most pathetic of flies, blundered straight into her trap. (Voice cracks with emotion) I am imprisoned! Trapped in this cold, stone crypt, a prisoner of her wicked magic. This… *this* is my castle now, my mausoleum. And in the chilling embrace of the night, when the moon casts its ghostly pallor across these hallowed grounds, I don my Goth Crown, a pathetic symbol of my unwilling royalty. The darkness... it wraps around me like a velvet shroud, suffocating, consuming. This is my existence now. A life stolen, a future erased, replaced by the chilling eternity of this… *crypt*. (Whispers) Pray for me… if you can. For hope is a flickering candle in this overwhelming darkness.

Alright everyone, let me paint you a picture. Imagine walking into a smoky bar, the kind where the music's low and the air's thick with anticipation. Then, *BAM*, you see her a beautiful girl. Absolutely stunning. You connect, instantly. That electric feeling, that spark – it's undeniable. You’re on top of the world, thinking you’ve found something truly special. But hold on. Life, or rather *unlife*, rarely goes as planned, does it? What happens when that initial attraction takes a decidedly… *sharp* turn? What happens when the woman you’re falling for reveals she’s a vampire and, well, lets you in on the secret firsthand…by biting your neck?

MIDNIGHT MIRAGE

Kill Count Capital is an urban gothic warning siren from the streets of Champaign Illinois. This track looks straight at the system that profits while bodies hit the pavement. Devils in suits count blood money and call it business as usual while another life is left on the sidewalk and another family is left without answers. The song is a midnight walk through red tape and crime scene tape where every verse asks who really benefits when the news cycle moves on and the neighborhood is still grieving.

Yan Noir brings a noir soaked vocal style and hard truth storytelling over a dark cinematic groove. It is protest music and street report at the same time a cold city sermon for the kids who grow up hearing sirens more than lullabies. Kill Count Capital is for the overlooked blocks the unsolved cases and the people who see the pattern and refuse to stay quiet. Goth & Roll King I want to share a journey that has shaped who I am as an artist and a person. Throughout my musical life, I have explored a vast array of genres—from the vibrant beats of Hip Hop to the raw energy of punk. However, as I reflect on my journey, I've found myself returning to my roots, to the sounds that first ignited my passion for music: Rock ‘n’ Roll. Growing up in the early eighties, that music resonated within me, and it has always been a part of my identity. In a world where trends often dictate the sound of what we hear, I’ve made a conscious decision to step away from that noise. I believe in the power of individuality, and I know that the only way to truly connect with others is through authenticity. It’s important for me to be myself—to be original and unique. This is why I have begun experimenting with a fusion of Goth Folk, Post Punk, Dark Wave, and Alternative Rock, creating sounds that are not just different but also deeply personal. I’ve been creating music since I was around twelve years old. From an early age, I embraced the idea of being different. I refused to conform or fit into a mold. Growing up in Champaign, Illinois, surrounded by a large family and a rich tapestry of musical influences, I learned to appreciate the diversity of sound. Each genre, each note played, helped expand my horizons and shaped my musical palette. Music is not just my passion; it’s a reflection of who I am.
