This mini album consists of four arrangements of J.S. Bach’s Toccata in E Minor, BWV 914. The album title, YK2H, is taken from the initials of the performers who are friends from college. 

Under the concept of “Bach meets club music”, this album shows the delightful ambient sounds created by the fusion of classical and electronic music. 

Two different perspectives of Bach - from yáo and Yusuke Komura - merge into one stream of music, which creates a fascinating world of sonority.

This album begins with the profound, spiritual piece which evokes the atmosphere inside a church. In the second piece, you can enjoy the momentum of sound as if dimensions shift with a touch of glitch music.

After the Chill-out third piece, in which the warm, moving harmony of Bach is blended with sounds from nature, as well as electronics, it proceeds to the last, industrial fugue.

yáo released her first single in 2022 
Her music covers a broad range of genres and evokes feelings with philosophical elements. 
In the process of music making, she cherishes taking a sense of groove, ideas, ambient and images into consideration. The next coming up mini-album is, the fusion of classical and club music. yáo is collaborating with a classical pianist, Yusuke Komura, a long-time friend of hers from college, and creating music inspired by J.S Bach  Toccata in E minor, BWV 914. 

yáo is also active as a music educator for young children using her knowledge and experiences from classically trained background.
