Earth Boys - Spring Fling

The first outing on new label "No Bad Days Records" comes from Polish rising artist Selvy hailing from Poznan. We already featured Wojciech Grynko not so long ago in our mix series with a delighful blend of ambient and house music but you might have noticed him way before with lush releases and tracks for Legend Sound Research, Transatlantyk and The Very Polish Cut Outs, FASRAT or Cosmic Pint Glass. His offering for Jake Hollick and Gabriel Szatan's new label is made of four diverse and playful cuts, and goes by the name of "POPS EP" . "Basics", premiered here, teases us with some hopping house chords before a tight beat and a swinging bass take over. Irresistible as always !

Jump Source is a collaborative effort between two pals, Francis Latreille & Patrick Holland (Project Pablo). It all started on a Thursday afternoon in Montreal's Mile End at Francis' studio. Over an MPC 2000XL, Moog Source, modular kit, and some Junos, the two tweaked breaks and blended pads until things sat just right. "Guide to Action" fits 4 tracks, some of which include solos, vocals, and amusing fadeouts.
