It’s all treats and no tricks from trance wizard Jordan Suckley, who’s gone from winning a DJ competition in college to playing clubs and festivals all over the world. He brewed up a winner with “Vanilla,” a collab with Simon Patterson that showcased Suckley’s true penchant for producing. Since then, a mass of music has been bubbling up from his studio cauldron, including his remix of Paul Oakenfold’s “Ibiza” and his latest track, “Elation.” Upcoming collabs with Paul van Dyk and Simon Patterson are also in the pipeline, assuring fans that more sweet beats are soon to come.

Here is a preview of my debut release for John O'Callaghan's very prestigious trance label 'Subculture', as debuted by Aly & Fila at #ASOT700 in Melbourne and Sydney this weekend!

The track has been inspired by the very famous photo of these 'Pillars of Creation' which was taken by the NASA Hubble Space Telescope, and re-taken very recently. I wanted the track to represent a space mission that was on it's way to the outer rims of our galaxy to see these gigantic pillars of gas. The journey would be very turbulent on the way there but in my head I wanted to create an 'epic' sounding and emotional piece of music that would really suit the feelings that you would experience as you looked out of the spacecraft's windows, as these massive natural phenomena appeared right in front of you. Geeky I know haha..but this was my whole thought process behind it all.. 

It was also heavily inspired by amazing films like 'Interstellar' and film soundtrack composers like the musical genius Hans Zimmer, and also of course influenced by the 'BXR' sound!
