Jason “YA$E” Vogel was born October 25, 1994 in Los Angeles, California. Growing up he faced adversity through the juvenile system and in school. He found motivation for his music when he was stuck in the justice system and had nothing else to turn too except his notepad. He lost his father at a young age and shortly after him, his mother and his sister packed up and moved right outside his mothers hometown of Philadelphia. Through lyrics of pain and struggle he hopes to be a voice of hope to help those in need. He started his Hip Hop career under the alias “Osyrus” and released three projects called “When Gold Decays”, “My Great Escape” And “Four Corners”. Through influence and evolution in musical ideas and knowledge his music style changed as did his alias. He is now know as “YA$E”, he grew up being called that and people already knew him as that. He currently is the co-owner of Tied In Music Group. A music label and collective of artists, producers, and other creatives all working to spread the message of unity. Bringing people together from all different walks of life, beliefs, and cultures. He is currently set to released his debut full project under his new alias “YA$E” titled “Black Sheep” this summer 2019 . It will be his first big production release with multiple videos and singles.
