Born and raised in Belgium, Joris Biesmans aka Biesmans made his move to Berlin in 2013 where he started working as sound technician in one of the city’s most iconic clubs, Watergate. When not tuning the club’s sound system, he could be found amongst his beloved synthesizers, honing his studio craft.

Having recently quit his technician job to focus on making music full-time, he’s a new addition to the W-agency roster and follows suits with an impressive debut EP on the Watergate label.

Next to strong releases in 2019 on labels like Correspondant, AEON, 17 Steps or Future Disco, he also got noticed on the social media for his unique POV sessions. In these point-of-view videos, Biesmans shows his live skills and guides you trough his hardware heavy studio set-up. 2021 will be the year where he takes this craft to the stage...

Berlin-based DJ/Producer Mathias Schober is a man of a thousand disguises, it seems. Whether releasing under his full name, or aliases such as SHOW-B, SB, Mathias’ records consistently find themselves into the record boxes of the most highly esteemed DJs of the world such as Sven Väth, Dixon, Mano Le Tough, and Âme. Not only do the aforementioned figures rely on Mathias music for their sets but also for their own productions Mathias has built a reputation of being the go-to guy for the final touches. Âme, Frank Wiedemann, Marcus Worgull, Roman Flügel, Dixon, Steve Bug, Alex Niggemann, Tale of Us amongst other regularly work with Mathias for getting their tracks mixed properly. Mathias strong involvement in the early days of Red Bull’s studio dependance in Berlin is another prove for the man’s skills in the studio.

Over the years Mathias lent his expertise to finalise productions by the most prolific artists and labels out there (LCD Soundsystem, Kelsey Lu, Grimes, Solomun, Depeche Mode, Who Made Who, Chez Damier, Permanent Vacation, …)  But that’s not enough, Mathias also co-owns Lossless, a label that consistently proves to be at the forefront of electronic music. Projects that Mathias is involved are Internacional Electrical Rhythms with Trikk or SBTH with Mathias’ labelpartner Thomas Herb. Mathias’ vision aims to release music that can stand the test of time with a sound that fuses classic elements, with crisp kick drums, and motor city references. And exploring unchartered territories in the process.

About Ivory:

Bio: Milan (Italy) born DJ / producer Ivory aka Daniel Tagliaferri first started music by playing the guitar. Ivory played in several bands and played different styles such as: Punk Rock, Psychedelia, Post Core & Folk. In parallel to live music he developed an interest for electronic sounds and club culture eventually leading him to become a DJ and producer. His sound is a mixture of analog synths, efficient melodies and a strong feel of African rhythms. Atlant Recordings, Depth, Offering Recordings, Be Free Recordings, Azzur, Chapter 24... After only just one year of diving into music production, Ivory is already teaming up with a handful of today's hottest imprints and artists.
