What can I say that you don’t know? What can I say that my hands don’t already show? And you’re steady, and you’re so kind, and patient, and I change my mind and I think you already know everything I have to teach you, but you listen all the same, finding the wisdom in the phrases that I try to offer and receive with eyes wide open, dishing gazes out for safetynakedunashamedandcrazy. And I work so hard for what?  And I love my friends for what? And I get out of bed for what? And I sing my songs for what? Why do I try to take it slow? Why do I try to keep most everyone I know at arm’s distance, left outside, insulated from the chaos of my mind?
