I had been messing around with this odd tritone scale which was begging to be turned into something like this so when I came across this competition and the page randomly assigned the "eerie" mood to me, this was too good an opportunity for me to finally pay homage to one of my biggest influences: Mark Snow... I hope it shows.

British/Swedish female four-piece Yassassin make unapologetic alt-indie rock music.

Having toured with the likes of Albert Hammond Jr (The Strokes), PINS, and shared stages with Echo & The Bunnymen, Dream Wife and The Garden, their fierceless live sets soon saw the band playing countless festivals across Europe.

With 3/4ths of the band uprooting from London to Margate in recent times, 2024 sees the quartet release their first new music since the big pause, giving us a shape of what's to come.
