Chris LeDoux was a hell of a songwriter. He was a real cowboy and rodeo champion. He died too young but left us with his songs that are timeless. This song is about how people who may not share the same background or culture can find similarity in being human if they will just take the time to talk to each other. My cover is loosely modeled after LeDoux's version.
