A birthday celebration, a surprise wedding, an enchanted castle - this was the back drop when KEGS & Fluid Druid took to the decks during an unexpected day-two on a very special weekend in Cregg Castle. 

What ensued was a two and half hour odyssey that charted a meandering course through time, space and many, many genres. 

Breaks, progressive, Italo-disco, house, acid, and organic, tribal beats were all woven together - with the Yawlag selectors taking inspiration from each other and letting the tracks be guided by the energy of the moment.

On September 20th, 2024, the Cornstore Mall in Galway was transformed into 'Otherworld' - an interactive exhibition bursting with multi-dimensional art spread across two areas: Ireland's mythical past and our shared future of actualisation among the stars

Overseen by the Tuatha Dé Danann and other cosmic entities - guests were invited to dance between worlds. Revelling in tribal jubilation before continuing on a technological and self-affirming voyage through a wormhole of psychedelic sounds and sensations that deconstruct the notion of genres and reality itself. 

Step into the Otherworld. Merge with the cosmos. Dance with a space squid. Become one with the machine.

'Otherworld' was the result of Arts Council funding and the shared vision of a multi-diciplinary team of artists - brought together by Kegs and hosted by Outset Gallery.
