Yaw Osei-Owusu is more than a founder of the True Worshippers youth organization. He is a devoted and admirable man of God who understands what it takes to be steward for the Lord. Yaw moved to the United States at the tender age of 7 and as a youth attended Faith & Victory Christian Center. There he became heavily involved with the youth ministry by partaking in many events that gathered young people to praise God. Later, Yaw joined the The Church of Pentecost and began to assist in reconstructing the music ministry. His dedication to serving God and his ability to organize people in the church became evident to the church officials as he was soon ordained as the youngest deacon at Church of Pentecost in 2009. This role is particularly special to him because his ordination ceremony was held at the first True Worshippers concert. True Worshippers was a personal goal and vision that God impressed on his heart and He wonderfully saw it through.

Yaw received his Bachelors in Business Management at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. On campus he helped organize the PENSA Campus Ministry which helped provide a “home church away from home” for many African students. Yaw Osei-Owusu’s quiet demeanor and modest mannerisms will quickly blow anyone away once they hear his soaring voice lifting God in praise. He has served as a guest singer and preacher at numerous youth conferences around the world. His passion for singing God’s praises has resulted in a mixtape and a first single that has already received 15,000 hits on Youtube. Yaw is truly an example of a man who has “remembered the Lord in his youth”. He has garnered respect from his peers and adults alike and is surely the driving force that has kept True Worshippers strong.
