Medicine For The People - Spring 2022 - YawS - Mix Compilation

It was my honor to play the build up set to the count down at Indra's Awarehouse this year. I programmed an action packed ride starting at 11pm, building up to a special tribal performance about 12min before the countdown. At 11:48pm I mixed in a 5 song tribal mashup for live drummers, dancers, and arial performers to flow into a beautiful performance right up to the countdown!! It was an amazing experience! Enjoy!

Medicine For The People Fall 2023

I had the honor of providing a musical sound track for this unique next level event produced by DragonWolf Productions in Austin, Tx. This special event featured over 30 circus performers: Aerialists, contortionists, acrobats, flow artists, dancers, and clowns. This was a visual audio treat featuring a Bass Boss sound system, 70 watt lasers and high def visuals on massive LED walls.

ASTRONOX 2024 -YawS Live Mix Compilation

Healed was a community fundraiser to support our dear sister Yawei in her healing journey after some tuff medical complications. We came together as a community to combine our light and send healing vibes to Yawei as she is recovering. We also hosted a silent auction with over 30 artists featuring hand made items as well as practitioner services. Our hope is to raise financial aid for Yawei's medical expenses on her journey to recovery. We started the night with a powerful activation manifesting golden light surrounding her. Then danced the night away in her honor and ended with a beautiful sound mediation to really set the intention. Yawei has a long road ahead of her and could still use energetic support and financial aid. Please keep her in your heart and donate to her link if possible. Muse of the Mind - YawS - Live Mix @ The North Door ATX

It all began with a single electronic sound frequency pulsing through the body, instantly activating bliss. For over 20yrs, YawS has been moving dance floors across the country with his eclectic and energetic sound scape. Musical styles ranging from down tempo to drum and bass, psybass, glitchhop, house, techno,  and high energy electronic dance music. This DJ/producer will take you on a journey, and move you from one dimension to the next with his smooth blending and precise mixing of each and every soundtrack. 
Born and raised in Texas, growing up on a diet of blues, southern rock, heavy metal and hiphop.....it was only a matter of time before YawS fell in love with synthesizers and the dance music that would be a catalyst to blend all styles into one. 
Performing his first major event in 1999 for 1200 people at the San Bernadino Sports Arena in California, He got a feel for massive sound systems and the energy of those that love to dance. This was only the beginning as YawS continued to play hundreds of events all over Southern California. After moving back to Texas, YawS continued to rock dance floors playing along side many great headliners to include: Aphrodite, Baby Anne, DJ Icey, Keoki, Simply Jeff, R.A.W., Terry Mullan, Wolfgang Gartner, Hedflux, Desert Dwellers, Kayla Scintilla and many more....
Currently YawS has focused most audio attention on music production and remixing. Near completing a few new songs and remixes he has found a whole new respect for music and the beauty of moving people through complex sound frequencies.
