Last month we celebrated 2 years of my invites residency and now as we embark onto the next chapter. It is with great excitement to welcome the first female duo onto the show. 

These 2 talented artists have been everybody’s go to duo in recent years. Their incredible DJ sets have caught the attention of almost everyone. Mixing records in an outstanding fashion whilst creating the perfect atmosphere on the dancefloor. 

Their Meat Free party’s have also been a leading player in brining some of the best acts there is to the North of the UK. Talking with Steffi we find out more about their background into music and how they managed to stay honest and open to their sound and the community they believe in. 

All this accompanied with an incredible guest mix that will keep us dancing through the night!

September’s edition is here and on this episode I am extremely grateful to welcome, Bulgarian artist Ruben Ganev onto the show.

Ruben first caught my attention with his incredible self release on his own Mould Audio imprint. Since he has continued to present his sound in a way that’s unique and outstanding to say the least. 

Based on Sofia, Bulgaria where he also hold his “СКИТНИК” events alongside fellow artists from his scene. Speaking with Ruben tonight we find out more about his musical background and how he structures his workflow in the studio. Plus a little insight into the next release on his label which is a LP from the man himself.

Once again, from Paris, France, we’re glad to introduce DJ and organizer at Organisme Texture in Rennes,½ of Element Process, CLEFT.

The reputation of his crew is not to be made any more after the many events to his credit of which the famous Texture festival which saw artists such as Mike Parker, Stephanie Sykes, Kobosil, Etapp Kyle and Hector Oaks and many more.

With his groovy, mental and minimalistic universe and his deep sense of rhythm, CLEFT manages to impose himself as an artist with a style and a technique of its own, driven by curiosity and a devotion to explore always new sounds he also develop throughout the years strong technical skills by captivating the dancers with roller coaster effects.

This past year he had a new release on @txtr.recordings under his project @elementprocess and plans on releasing much more. Stay tuned.

MOD82 Podcast series #052 with KASHPITZKY
Berlin based DJ/Producer KASHPITZKY joins us for the 52nd episode of our series.

Growing up in Tel-Aviv, Kashpitzky was etching out his musical path as a guitar player in a metal-core band. At some point though, he traded amplifiers for drum machines and really turned on the heat. 
His involvement in “V-DOOY”, hosting illegal raves in Tel-Aviv between 2016-2018 allowed him to dedicate himself to finding his own sound, while his three-year residency at the Bootleg Club secured him gigs in the biggest venues the city has to offer, from the Block to the Alphabet Club and the Breakfast Club.

In order to complete a formal musical education in sound design, Kash relocated to Berlin and graduated from the SAE Institute.
He is one of those DJs who you can’t clearly pigeonhole in terms of sound. Always changing, always banging, he has a track for every occasion, letting even extended sets never get boring. His unique definition of techno is perhaps best exemplified in his energetic, deep yet groovy productions, often combining broken beats with organic textures. In this regard, it is worth noting his release on Shlomi Aber’s Be As One imprint, as well as his contribution track to the VA compilation of Volster’s Secession label.

His tracks are often supported by heavyweight DJs and producers around the world and with releases coming up on Insolate’s Out of Place (including a Tensal remix), Developer’s Olympian, and a return to the Be As One imprint with a solo EP in 2022, the future looks busy and bright for this promising artist!
