My next guest is Denn Punk.

Life is good, don’t take it to serious! Thats the motto of the Rotterdam based techno DJ and producer Denn Punk. And it surely works infectiously on the dance floor when you see this epicurean behind the decks. 

The fact that Denn Punk started his career as a DJ with vinyl in the early 90s can still be heard in his sets and productions. Expect old school grooves with funky tunes, combined with pumping beats and hard kicks to get the crowed moving. You can hear influences from artists such as Ben Sims, Truncate, Zisko, D.Dan, DJ Shufflemaster and Orion, from whom he is inspired. In the studio Denn Punk plays around with samples, cutting them up and create something fresh and new. Add some sharp cutted beats combined with old school sounds editing and you have a guinine Denn Punk release.

My next guest on Yax Invites is Dutch techno artist, Ten Ounce.

Ten Ounce has been into electronic music since the late 80's when he was first introduced with the sounds of Vangelis. Over the last 30 years his taste has evolved through many different styles although groovy four-to-the-floor sounds have always been present. Under his Tenos moniker he explores the caves of the contemporary underground New Club music, of which influences can be heard in this mix. Being widely experienced in different styles of music, his New Club mixes are a creative outlet whereas his techno mixes are more for dancing. Originally a vinyl DJ, he is allergic to use of the sync button on setups. Similarly this mix may be a little rough around the edges being performed on a pair of CDJ's. With no aspiration to become the next club resident, he is solely here to share his passion for music.

Bio:
Tensic is a Chilean-born techno producer and DJ based out of Southern California in the Coachella Valley. Although occasionally producing in other electronic genres such as ambient and gabber, Tensic's true passion has always been the dark sweaty floors where techno is played.
Preferring a more hands-on approach, all tracks are created with an assortment of hardware consisting of both analog and digital gear.
With a handful of releases so far, Tensic is always working on new music to release, and looks to bring his selection of high energy techno to dance floors all over.
