Volpe is an Argentinian artist with more than 10 years of experience behind the booth.
Inspired by the sounds of the ‘90s, his versatile sets blend genres such as Dub, Detroit and Tribal Techno, which combined with his fast tempo and continuous groove, create a perfect atmosphere on the dance floor.
He has been at the forefront of the underground electronic scene in Buenos Aires, being a resident in several parties for many years, which have led to him being showcased at the best Techno clubs of the country.
He’s managed to edit several of his productions on labels such as UИCAGE, Artaphine, Subsist, Frenzy and Sungate, and due to his continuous efforts he has been supported by artists such as Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, Jeroen Search, Marcel Dettmann, DJ Bone, Zenker Brothers, Rødhåd, Samuli Kemppi, Remco Beekwilder, Shlomi Aber, Stephen Brown, Kaiser, Vil, Yant, Pushmann, Alexander Kowalski, Subradeon, Tripeo, Ray Kajioka, El Choop, Hertz Collision and many others. 
He is now focused on his new vinyl releases whilst still doing podcasts for great channels like Conceptual Violence, Room Lab, Obscene, Vanity Dust, Duplicity and several more.

Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Introversion

The 25-year-old Berliner by choice which defines himself as a producer, sound designer, and DJ is part of the new generation of young talents gaining a foothold in the electronic music industry by shaping it with his own pioneering style.

In terms of producing, drums play a significant role in Introversion’s compositions (it was the first instrument he laid his hands on in adolescent years). Many are breakbeat focused – not just the odd track here and there, it is definitely something that permanently defines his style. Other common denominators in his work are the continuous exploration of infusing furious dark 90’s inspired techno with melancholic trance elements. Drums in full attack or wild synth stabs often get calmed by an emerging wave of classic trance chords finding their way into the arrangement. The way Introversion carefully picks out and introduces these old school-components, not being scared of their effect upon incorporating them, is what makes his tracks sound fresh and invigorating.

As a DJ, Introversion creates a diverse combination of tracks originated from hard, forceful techno. His sets mainly consist of new or unreleased material, drawing inspiration from 90’s and 00’s techno, rave and trance, alongside bridging a way to well-selected classics. To find the right balance for the journey, the emphasis lies as much on seeking out the track with the perfect severe kick drum, as well as the one containing the right atmospheric moment: “I love to play melodies and harmonic stuff, not just drum jams. But always quite hard”.

My next guest on Yax Invites is Loose-E, a 25 year old DJ/Producer from Doneraile in Cork, Ireland.

Loose-E likes to keep it fast and groovy with some tribal influences throughout his sets. His love for this type of sound all started with influences coming from the 90s and early 00s Hardgroove/Funk/Tribal Techno, listening to the likes of Dave Angel, Jeff Mills, and Ben Sims.

This mix is a worthy applicant for episode 100 in the series, comprising of an hour and a half of deep and groovy techno with some aggressive drums and percussion, topped off with a few old school classics.

hyaltee (@hyaltee) is a producer/DJ from the capital area of Iceland and is based in Berlin. He is a resident DJ of the collective State of Emergency (@s.o.e.collective).
His musical journey started with playing drums when he was 14 years old. Since then he has played in countless bands ranging from progressive death metal to alternative electronica.
From studying drums and music he found inspiration to move to Berlin to strive for a more personal career in music production and since then he has found himself diving deep into the sounds of techno.
With a strong focus on rhythm, groove and expressive harmonies he plays and produces whatever comes to him naturally and that is what translates to the mix we hear.
