Following the success of Joe Vanditti’s summertime edit of SAINt JHN, we return with another monumental re-rub. This time, Mario Daic puts his spin on a Villalobos classic.

2021 saw the launch of our free download series, as Joe Vanditti turned out an incredible edit of world-renowned Hip-Hop artist SAINt JHN’s ‘Borders’ (feat. Lenny Kravitz). 2022 aims to continue with impressive momentum as we welcome German producer and TILT resident Mario Daic to the stage.

Mario’s take on Ricardo Villalobos & Mari Kvien Brunvoll’s ‘Everywhere You Go’ has already started to grab the attention of some of the industry’s biggest hitters, including Marco Carola and Luciano - who have both played the track several times in their sets.

Diving straight into a ricocheting flurry of drums and percussive flair, Mario’s edit blends plenty of that signature NoZzo rolling sound with Vilallobos’ celebrated nonconformist approach to music production. Weighty kick sequences, swirling instrumental layers & hypnotic vocal arrangements are just some of the things you’ll find in this endlessly captivating dancefloor pleaser.

Opening cut "This Is Why" sees label-head Jean Pierre teaming up with fellow NYC artist David Berrie for a malicious, scattering jazzy jam, followed by a tight techy number by Rhoowax and the highly addictive "Problema" by Shahar & Motum with Luquez on the mic. To follow, we welcome back Rhoger & Blockhead with the bubbling "G Woman", Cuttin' Headz affiliate Daniel Orpi, Trangaz & Lowest and Davide Mentesana, all providing essential dancefloor tunes. Boogeyman is a brand new sub label from The Martinez Brothers's legendary Cuttin' Headz.

The brainchild of Jesse Calosso, who also takes the lead with A&R, kicks off with a fantastic compilation showcasing the sound and talent the label will deal in.

Jaden Thompson, Aaron D, Jean Pierre, Joey Daniel, and The Martinez Brothers themselves all feature.

Planet Mars from Aaran D opens with chunky house drums and a cool sense of funk from the lithe synths. AJ Christou & Gabriel Torres link for the kicking Raw Life, with its warped synths and kinetic drums pumping the party, then UK stalwarts Alex Arnout & Matt Tolfrey come together for Back to Flat, which is a high speed and silky deep house cut. Blas Cordero impresses with his tightly woven deep techno banger 'Do It' while Jaden Thompson layers in some heartfelt vocals to the irresistible drum programming on his 'Closer.'

Elsewhere Jean Pierre's 'Da Heights' is a tech funk workout with twisted pads and skewed bass that has a futuristic vibe and Calosso himself helps define the collection with Disc-Hoe, a lively cut with ramshackle drums and vocal stabs bringing the steaminess.

Closing things out is Joey Daniel with another of his house masterclasses, then The Martinez Brothers step up with a hard hitting groove that has robust drums and drilling bass which is all about blowing up the floor. Last of all, Vic Damone Jnr offers a new school take on the Chicago sound with raw claps, ghetto vocals and bumping bass that is truly electric.

This is a fantastic first release from this sure to be vital label.

Finest minimal selector & Folklor Club resident in Lausanne, Umbe Nalle launches his label Accussi Records with a release by himself & remixed by not-to-be-presented-anymore ultratalented artist Yaya from Torino in Italy.

Free of Frustration (original) is loaded with positive energy & funky grooves based on an of essence classic minimal structure including some soulful vocals which breathe great freshness as well as a feeling of togetherness to the music. Composed during lockdown, this track is the perfect incarnation of what art can do: catharsis.

Remix by Yaya puts the stress on the deep-iish potential of the track by dropping a huge bassline with signature-syncopated drum elements that create a great dancing vibe & give a tremendous smile to the listener. This remix is the perfect incarnation of what a remix should be: sublimation.

Bringing his African ethnic roots together with his good Italian taste, Tamango Records boss Yaya is one of the hottest names in the electronic music scene. Yaya grew up in Turin, where the tunes of his father - percussionist and leading voice of the “M’bamina” ensemble - helped him to discover his inner sense of rhythm, thus starting his relationship with music at an early age and performing as a drummer around the city. Since joining the mighty Desolat family back in 2009, he never stopped moving between the biggest meccas of European electronic music, playing at the best clubs and festivals from all over the world. Besides his unique DJ sets, Yaya is also a prolific producer: after releasing on some of the most respected underground labels, he went on and in 2016 founded his own imprint Tamango Records which has seen names from the likes of Loco Dice, Enzo Siragusa, Cuartero, Rich NxT, Cassy, Toman, and S.A.M. to name a few.
