Yazzbot Mazut is a Poznań-based band, which debuted as a quintet in 2008 with a warmly received concept album "W pustyni i w puszczy". The current members of the band include: Andrzej Szawara (guitar, electronics), Lena Romul (alto saxophone), Piotr Kowalski (percussion), Szczepan Kopyt (bass, other). The members describe the genre they play as "post-jazz (repeatedly improvised music)". In May 2010, the Poznań-based record company Multikulti released the band's second album, "Mazut Mazut". Distinctive, original rhythmic ideas and eclectic approach to improvisation once again saved the world.
