This song reminds me of myself even to this day, even as my mom starts telling me I don't have to be perfect, I grew into that bad habit of pushing myself to my breaking point of wanting to succeed because of what i went through with my mom when I was just a little kid. I wasn't even in 7th grade when I felt so pressured. I still don't feel enough for her, I want to succeed for her. Yet what if I hadn't gotten all those straight A's? what if I hadn't been the top of my school? Would she still be as proud as she is now of me? I have all A's. a 4.00 GPA. yet I can't settle for second best.
