The UK-raised, Barcelona based artist: EYRA (@eyra-dj), has cultivated a genre-fluid style that plugs sound system pressure into worldly rhythms, pulsating house and mutant dancehall. His catalog includes releases on Accidental Meetings, Related Articles and Pressure Dome, as well as being the co-founder of the event series POLYGLOT and member of musical collective ABUNDANCE.

Esoteric and sub-heavy bangers is the name of the game with EYRA’s latest offering on New Zealand label Related Articles, serving up two infectious and steppy groovers 'Peso Neto' & 'Weit'. These slick club productions make optimum use of space and dynamics, exploring moments of tension and release with immense bass pressure. Sprawling and textural sound design swirls around these deeply-rooted rhythms that take influence from dancehall, grime, footwork and dembow.
