Camelphat & Elderbrook - Cola (iklektrik Edit)

The 36th release on Clubsonica Records welcomes Juan Deminicis to the label for his debut EP. As one of Argentina’s foremost electronic music talents Juan’s productions have been featured on both Lost & Found Records and Sudbeat Music. His deep and distinctive sound continues to be a favourite amongst the top DJs with Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J being two of his long time supporters. Now making his much anticipated first appearance on Clubsonica, Juan presents his new EP entitled 'Now Is Never' alongside remixes from Robert R. Hardy and East Cafe. 

Played out over nine magical minutes, the title and showcase piece 'Now Is Never' finds Juan exploring percussive grooves and emotive soundscapes. Contoured bass tones carry the RIPPLING foundation while waves of percussion and evolving atmospheres advance the narrative into the break. A story within a story, the two minute interlude ebbs and flows with swollen synths, astral sweeps and a delicate melodic theme, hitting impassioned chords before an energy bridge transitions into a poignant finale.

The companion piece 'Resurge' finds Juan collaborating with 'The Blackout'. The duo have previously worked together for Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records with excellent results and now come together once again for a stunning production. Smooth and emotive in equal measure, it sits as a perfect complement to the larger 'Now Is Never' as rolling drums and ethereal motifs highlight the journey.

The first interpretation of 'Resurge' is provided by Robert R. Hardy. The Hernan Cattaneo favourite now returns for his second remix putting his own unique twist on 'Resurge'. The main themes translate well here, from the buzzing groove to otherworldly motifs, albeit in a deeper, smoother and less distinct context. The chord changes become hugely emotive, particularly out of the break as free flowing melodies and haunting vocal refrains come together for a charming finale.

The second and final interpretation of 'Resurge' is provided by East Cafe. With a discography that now stretches ten plus years East Cafe has more than etched his place in progressive house history. As one of Hungary’s most revered talents his music has found its way into the sets of Hernan Cattaneo while appearing on a long list of esteemed imprints, most notably ICONYC, Manual Music, Proton Music, Soundteller Records and Stellar Fountain. The Hungarian's muscular grooves are undeniably powerful, rolling with dynamic percussion as electric synths and icy vocals blanket the framework. A short and timely break adds nicely to the story setting up a charged second act before one final break seals its emotional brilliance.

A landmark release for Clubsonica Records, elevating the Colombian imprint yet again as they combine three of progressive music's most inspiring talents.

The beautiful Midgard opens things up with lush memories dancing about above rolling house drums. It's a feel good track filled with colour that will light up any club. The legendary Sebastian Leger remixes it into something more late night and stripped back, with thoughtful chords and loose percussion getting you into the groove. Last of all, Niflheim is a dreamy house track with more heavenly melodies and soft synths that sooth the mind, body and soul. 

This is perfectly atmospheric and musical house from a real master of the form.

Having been an official remix contest at Beatport a couple of years ago, @gabim had downloaded the stems for Cid Inc & Darin Epsilon's Outliers, but never did anything with them for a long time. When finally picking it up, the main idea for his version came to him rather quickly but then he let it rest for a while, only to finish it recently. We felt it's too strong not to show it to the world, so here we go!

A regular on Proton Music with his distinctive original music, Rudy and his "All Things Fade" EP first hit the label in March 2019. After remixes from high-profile stars including Jamie Stevens and Mark Slee, Particles now sees its own release with new remixes from UK and Italian producers.

Steve Haines has been at the forefront of the dance music scene for over two decades with a huge global following, over 400 production credits and support from a 'Who's Who' of A-list DJs that includes Sasha and Paul Oakenfold. Transferring this kudos to a different production moniker is no mean feat but with his Bluum pseudonym, Haines has quickly generated significant success and impressive traction. Moreover, a clutch of original tracks on the Paul Thomas run UV, part of Aly and Fila's Future Sound of Egypt label family, has seen Bluum establish a host of new admirers and blue-chip play from Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond and Matt Darey among others. Moreover, JOOF, mau5trap and Mango Alley have all played host to the Bluum sound since early 2018.

A pair of remixes for Izzet and Rick Pier O'Neil in January and July 2019 saw Bluum open his Particles account as he now returns for a third outing. With a laidback percussive groove, the Bluum remix of "Real You" provides a smooth and flowing framework from which Rudy's beautiful melodic elements continue to shine. A rasping bassline gradually evolves in open-filtered intensity alongside a hypnotic new arpeggio that adds new dynamism, while a host of new production material shows Bluum at the height of his powers.

A 2019 newcomer to the underground dance scene, Davide Ferrario has quickly made a name for himself. A debut on atish and Mark Slee's Manjumasi with the stylish twin-track "Lullabies" EP, saw the Italian hit the heights in April with elegant deep house vibes, backed by exceptional remixes from Bengal and Nitin. November saw Ferrario feature on My Other Side of the Moon with the wonderful "Drops" as he now debuts on Particles with a first-ever remix.

Reworking the title track, a stripped-back percussive top line encases Rudy's wonderful flowing piano lines in a crisp rhythmic shell. Rising and falling with ease the beautiful motifs are enhanced with Davide Ferrario's new production work adding a new dimension and additional phrasing to the original. A driving beat and subtle bassline add depth and power in an interpretation that promises a very bright future for the Milanese artist.

Remixes from Bluum and Davide Ferrario have provided a bright, shining future for Rudy and "All Things Fade".
