"A man, standing in the corner of the street,

All he hears around him, the patter of feet,
Of the sleepers, keepers, hypnotized sheep,
The lights shine on as the darkness comes,
Anxiety surrounds him the man starts to run,
Like vampires scatter when they see the sun,
He is the degenerate, the bastard one.

And suddenly he’s stuck in the middle, 
This man has no clue, 
No arrows to point where to start a new. 
But oh well, he'll hold his head high, 
And gaze as his dreams fade up in the sky.

So, this man is running for his life,
From the invisible enemy, paranoia is rife,
He reaches in his pocket and pulls out the flip knife,
And is ready to deal with this oncoming strife,
He turns to see a figure run towards him,
The man prepares himself to commit mortal sin,
As the knife does thrust and blade slips in,
The figure just dissolves, there’s no sign of him.

Shaking now, this man runs for cover,
Longing for the warm hug of his mother,
Psychosis has kicked in, why does he bother?

He’ll go to a world where none of this exists,
He briefly remembers the days he once missed,
As the blade does cut, he uses the exit.

And suddenly he’s not in the middle,
