Dang! Took me 8 months to write another one of these silly things.

I had to push myself hard to finish this track. I don't know how many hours I spent laboring over and wallowing in my musical limitations: turns out, I'm a very pitchy singer. Turns out, mixing and mastering is a science that is so completely beyond me. And the process of writing itself feels like I'm battling an unreasonably difficult kid that really doesn't want to leave the house.

But...I could spend forever trying to go head to head with my perfectionist self. And I'd rather not. Creatively, and personally, I've been needing to silence my own inner critic.

So here's something I made--not perfect--but imperfectly whole. I'd like to think of it solely as energy I'm putting out there, hoping that it might--just maybe--jive with the uncertain universe out there.

It might also be time to upgrade to Logic.
