Hello everyone. This is a mashup I made of Project 46's song Atarax, and Calvin Harris & Ne-Yo's song Let's Go. The idea for this mashup came about when I was searching for Project 46's song Atarax. I had forgotten about Atarax, and wanted to find the song again. Apparently Atarax can't be found except for one YouTube video which had the original song. While I was looking for Atarax, I found a mashup made by Vincent Bouchard. The idea for the mashup was great, but the execution just wasn't quite there.  The vocals from Let's Go were a bit off from the song Atarax. I really liked the idea of both songs combined, but the vocals being off on Vincent Bouchard's mashup just did not sit right with me. The mashup was made in 2012, so I understood why the mashup was the made in the way it was. I like both Atarax and Let's Go, so I decided to recreate the mashup in the way that I wanted to hear this mashup. After obtaining all the files needed, I was able to create this mashup. The mashup came out better than I originally thought it would be. Highlighting 2012 progressive house by combining both of these songs together was the goal. So it was nice to surpass my own expectations. Thanks to Vincent Bouchard for the initial idea that allowed me to make this mashup. Without his original mashup, my mashup would not have been possible.  Anyways, the mashup is available for free download so I hope you enjoyed this mashup!

Hello everyone. This was my remix for Dimatis & Bayza's remix contest. This remix was challenging but fun making this song into a drum and bass song. I finished this remix back in April, as it was part of a 40 artist remix contest. This remix was a very last minute decision of mine, and created this whole remix within a week. Sadly I did not win the remix contest. I was bummed about not winning the contest, hence why I did not release this remix sooner. At the end of the day, this remix was fun to create. I gave this song a totally different spin than the original song. I made it more into a Yeeflex style song. Which is probably why it didn't win. Anyways, this is my remix of Call Out, and I hope you like it. Enjoy!

Dimatis & Bayza - Call Out (Yeeflex Remix)

Hey guys,

This is my newest song called "The Pack." I am happy to say that I am finally finished making this song! I have been working on this song since October of last year. The reason I have waited so long to release the song was because I was using this song a learning ground to learn how to EQ better, Master better, and most importantly find my own sound. (*Volume maybe a little low)

So to describe a little bit about this song. This is a remake of the first song I ever created which i uploaded on soundcloud about 2 years ago called "The Pac." I re-created this song from scratch and decided that I would make this song pretty bass heavy. The reason behind this was I wanted to try making a fast paced dance song with a girthy bass. At the break I also tried writing/creating my own melodic solo part to challenge myself and to see how it would come out.

Today, I present to you my collab song with Villo, Stories. The release of this song, has been a long time coming. As for some insight for this song, I will give a brief story on how this song started. Back in December of 2018, I needed some feedback on a song, so I sent one of my projects to Viilo, to see if he would give me some feedback. He gave me some feedback, and then we got to talking about music. I then asked if he was interested in collaborating on a song together. He said he was interested in collaborating with me, since he had not been collaborating with any other artists at the time. So we started the Stories project. We sent ideas to each other, but we were initially trying to make a song in the same style as Viilo's song, Starry Night. The song went in a completely different direction, when we started combining both of our styles together. But the turning point was when Viilo created the break in between the first and second drop. That was when I knew, this song was going to be something special. After we finished Stories, we sent the song out to a couple of record labels, but the style didn't match the styles of the labels. Luckily Viilo had released his song, "The Gate" with Diversity in the past. We sent Stories to Diversity, and they were interested in releasing Stories. And as they say, the rest is history. At the end of the day, we are both fortunate enough to have Diversity Music release Stories, on their record label. I hope you guys like Stories, and support the release on Diversity Music. Hello everyone,

Today, I am releasing the new and improved version of Equinox, called Equinox (VIP). This song has a really long back story, so get ready for a long winded story.  

Back when I was in my last year of high school, I was just starting to learn, how to use Ableton. At this point in time, I had no idea how making music on the computer worked, let alone how to use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). It just so happened that my classmate, and friend PaperWolf, had made a remix to a Tohou song, on FL Studio, at around that time. Since it was our last year of high school, we decided to try making a song together for fun. For about 3 months straight, I went to PaperWolf's house after school to try and create music. We both didn't know what we were doing, but we had an idea to build off a song that I had made earlier that year (in a different program) called The Pac. We used random plug-ins I found on the internet, to create the first audio file in FL Studio. At this time, we only managed to make an intro and a drop. We even sent this version of the song to Vital EDM, because they had a contest for new producers to get onto the channel. Unfortunately, we graduated from high school and we both went to different colleges. So we didn't get a chance to finish the song.   

Fast forward a year, and both PaperWolf and I meet up again on our summer breaks. We were hanging out at my house, and we had the idea to finish the song we started. We converted and transferred the files from PaperWolf's FL Studio, on his computer, to my computer with Ableton. After we transferred all the files over, we then started making the song. Within a week, we met up twice. After those two meet ups, we finished structuring, and creating all the notes for Equinox. And within a couple of weeks, I finished mixing the song.  Keep in mind that, we were also making Valaxima at the same time. After we finished both songs, we had to come up with names. We literally opened up a dictionary, and picked a random word. We did that a couple times, and ended up with the word Equinox. We both liked the word, so we called the song, Equinox. We then released Equinox as one of two songs on the Valaxima EP. 

Fast forward a couple years, I was listening to the original Equinox with PaperWolf again, and I realized the mix wasn't what I envisioned the song to sound like. So I had the bright idea that, improving Equinox's mix would make the song better. I try my hand at mixing a VIP version of Equinox, by removing sounds and removing a lot of bass. But it turns out I made it worse. I ended up doing another VIP version, where I removed some sounds, but it had too much bass. I ended up not being happy with both VIP versions. Not until recently, I realized that I wanted to keep all the original sounds, and modernize the mix. So I remade Equinox, in the way that I envisioned it sound when I first made it with PaperWolf. As a result, here is the Equinox (VIP). It's not as loud as the original version, but the overall mix sounds cleaner to me. Equinox has been through many revisions, but this is the song I always go back to, to work on my mixing skills.

Equinox is a fun project started by two high school friends, that tried making music for fun. We never expected to make more than two songs together. I personally never expected this song, to start my career as a music producer. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this version of Equinox.

This is my take on remixing the song, Believe by Nitro Fun and Desso, featuring Brenton Mattheus. This is an old unofficial remix of mine, that I created back in 2015 for the remix competition that Wolf Beats was hosting for this song. I recently found the song about three months ago, and figured it was actually a well structured  song. I just didn't have the skills to make it properly, during the remix contest. So I found the original project file, I started to rework the whole song. I left the core of the original remix together, I just made percussion and the sounds cleaner. This was a fun remix to re-make, because the Brenton's vocals are really good. I've always liked Brenton's vocals in songs I've listened to in the past, so having the opportunity to work with his vocals in a song was nice. I don't get the opportunity to work with vocals often, so I used this opportunity to experiment with different techniques with the vocals. I didn't want to change the genre of song, because I really like the original song. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this unofficial remix I made of Believe.

This is my latest song Serenity. This song has been a long time coming and I'm glad to release this song as my first song this new decade. While this past year I've made some amazing collaborations, I personally wanted to make more music that was more emotional and had more of a lasting feeling to me. So this was the first song I've made on my own that has captured this image. The atmosphere and overall feeling of this song is really peaceful to me. Hello everyone,

This is my latest song Zerus. This is going to be the first song for my upcoming EP. The way that this EP is going to be released is going to be different than my previous EP's. I'm going to release one song at a time, after I finish them. So Zerus will be released today, and the next song could be released in like 4 months from now. Still figuring it out, but I will be uploading update videos on my channel, telling everyone the progress of this upcoming EP. 

Now to give you guys the story of the creation of Zerus. I started this song in January 2018.  At that time, I wanted to make a song like my older song Albion. I liked conception of Albion, and the sound design I used in the song. So Zerus started out as Albion 2.0. I worked on the song a few months after I started the song, but lost the inspiration and direction of the song. So Zerus sat as an unfinished project for about a good year and a half. I would work on the song from time to time, but nothing to further advance the song. Fast forward to December 2019. I opened up the project to just listen, and I got the inspiration to finish the song. Now Zerus is finished, and I can say that I'm proud to finally release Zerus. This song is the first time you guys get to hear my orchestral edm. I've implemented this style into many songs, but I've not released any of those songs that I implemented this style into. Hello everyone,

This is my latest song Resurgence. This song is the second song for my upcoming EP. The EP is slowly coming together, but I will make an update video giving more detail about the conception of my upcoming EP. Anyways, now I’ll go into detail about the backstory of this song.

When I first started this song two years ago, I had just discovered the genre electronic rock. I was so blown away by the fact, that there was a genre of music that combined two of my favorite genres of music. I initially made about one quarter of this song, and then I ran out of ideas on how to progress the song. Eventually I stopped working on the song, because every time I opened the project, I couldn’t figure how to complete the song. So Resurgence sat as an unfinished project. Fast forward to March 2020, I decide I want to create another EP. So I look at my unfinished projects, and resurgence appeared. I knew I wanted to finish the song, and that I had more experience on how it could finish the song. So I start working on the song again, and I completed the rest of the song in one day. I wanted the main focus of the song to be in the gritty mid-bass guitar. As you can tell when listening to the song, I wanted to really hear that mid-bass guitar. I will say, that hardest part of this song was getting the mix right. I really wanted to perfect my own electronic rock and drum and bass fusion. I compared this song to some artists in the electronic music scene and the rock scene. Some electronic music artists I referenced, were Voicians, Muzzy, Zardonic, and Blue Stahli. On the Rock side, I referenced AC/DC, Disturbed, Thousand Foot Crutch, and Breaking Benjamin. I really wanted to make an electronic music song, with similar mixing to rock songs. After listening to all these artists, I think I made my best version of my own electronic rock style.

Hello everyone,

This is my song Swingline. This song took a lot longer than I originally intended it to take, but I will explain that later. Swingline is the third song on the upcoming album. This song is in a different style and bpm, because I was trying to make something new. Now to get into the backstory of the song. 

I started Swingline a couple years ago. I wanted to make a hip-hop/pop type beats that I kept hearing from songs on the radio. The beats I heard on the radio were interesting to me because they were simple beats, but mixed clearly. Which made the beat have a nice smooth and simple flow. That was the original direction of the song. As I started the song, I played an arp and matched it with some dance plucks. From there, this song turned into an electronic melodic hip-hop fusion beat. My best description of the genre, is a electronic song with a hip-hop beat and tempo. Anyways, the part that was intriguing to me, was the pan flute type instrument you hear in the song. That was a last minute addition, which lead the song to released later than I expected. It took me a long time balance the lead sound in the drop, with that pan flute, and the dance plucks. The original date I wanted to release this song was in July, but then I pushed it back to last month. But plans changed because I was not happy with the mix at those points. Last week I reworked the whole mix of the song, getting to sound how it is now. It took a good amount of work, so I'm glad that this song is finished and finally seeing the light of day. 

Anyways that is the full backstory of the song. Hopefully you guys enjoy this song. It's definitely another project that I've wanted to finish and release. This is a re-release of a remix @TommyCreep and @Ghoulshow did for me a 7 years ago. I wanted to upload this remix, because I realized I never uploaded this amazing remix here on my Soundcloud before. I will now go into the back story of this song.

Spooky! is the first song I fully ever completed on my own. I released this song under my old alias Bass Kicker, back when I was first starting to make music in 2013. At the time, I just wanted to fully make a song, and it turned out the sounds I chose were Halloween themed. The original song was released in May 2013. After I released Spooky!, my old buddy Aplphonic started a label called Mach One Music, at the time. We talked and he wanted me to release Spooky! on his label. I wanted to create and EP, and have someone remix Spooky!, so this was a great opportunity. I don't remember exactly, but I believe Tommy Creep had just followed me on SoundCloud at around that time. I checked out his profile, and ended up reaching out to him about remixing Spooky!. He agreed to do it. When he finished and sent the remix back to me, he said his buddy Ghoulshow also worked on the remix as we. Which was a the best surprise to date. The first time I listened to the remix, I was blown away by how good it was. I didn't tell Tommy I loved electro, but he ended up reading my mind and made an electro remix. After that the Spooky! EP released for free on Mach One Music in October 2013. And the rest is history.

Till this day,  this is my favorite remix that any artist has done for me so far. I still listen to the remix every once in awhile 7 years later. This remix still sounds a good as it did, when it was released 7 years ago. The reasons for me uploading this song on my channels is due to Mach One not being around anymore, and the fact that the song isn't on my channel already. The original video was on Mach One, but the video isn't on YouTube anymore. So this turns into a nice 2013 Electro/Complextro nostalgia trip for Halloween 2020.

Hello everyone,

This is my song called Ode To Hodor. This is a sort of meme tribute song to the character Hodor, from Game of Thrones. This song started as a joke meme song, but actually turned in to a really fun and bouncy dance song. Will explain in this backstory.

This song started as an idea from my friends, because they had been suggesting to me that I should make a troll Hodor song as a meme. They hadn't seen a meme Hodor video on YouTube, so they were saying I should make one. I didn't want to at first, but then I found a random music producer video where they made a really random meme video making fun of producers making bangers. I laughed so hard, that I rewatched that video for a good 15 minutes straight. After seeing that video, I was inspired to make my very own meme song. My friend Very Barry found a YouTube video called Hodor Best Moments, and ripped the audio from that video. I used the audio from that video in this song. I believe I used most of the audio from that video in this song, since the clip was only about two minutes long. I was not going to put much effort into this song initially, but I soon realized that I was having more fun making this song, than I had for many songs in awhile. So I ended making this song sound as cool as I could make it. I tried to make this song sound as Euro-beat as possible. Seemed fitting for the setting this show took place in. The lead sound melody in Ode To Hodor, is my re-interpreted version of the Game of Thrones main lead melody. All the vocals from the video were pitched to match the root note of the song.

Hello everyone,

This is the latest and final version of Airwalk. After releasing the first version of Airwalk, I was not happy with that version of the song. I personally felt as if Airwalk did not reach its full potential. So PaperWolf and I decided to recreate Airwalk, in the vision we has first imagined this song to have 6 years ago. The original vision we had, was for Airwalk to be a chill, and dreamy song. We also wanted to include a lot of nature elements into Airwalk as well. For this song to reach its full potential, my buddy eccentric kindly helped us master Airwalk. He did an amazing job mastering Airwalk. He allowed Airwalk to reach its full potential. Lastly my good friend Very Barry, created a music video montage of different nature clips, as Aiwalk's music video. The music video captures the overall vibe of Airwalk as a song. Overall, Airwalk has been a fun project, that involved various friends. But it took all my friends, for Airwalk to reach its full potential. Anyways, that is it for me. Enjoy!
