‪@sarahdewarren‬ and I met a few years ago and connected on the idea that the type of music we both want to make draws from a darker, faster, more energetic sonic world. I first heard her vocals, unknowingly, on the Eli Brown song 'Be The One' and immediately knew we had to do something together. It seemed like we were both on the path of simplifying our tastes and were headed in a direction that catered to clubs, warehouses, and late nights, and that's what Need You Closer represents.
