Introducing Decca…

Also known as fin, a Bath born and bred DJ who has really made a name for himself around Bristol. Decca started out his career in late 2019 when he started out mixing in his bedroom. Back in 2020 during peak lockdown, Fin made his idea of starting up his own label into a reality and recruited the best up and coming producers and selectas to continue the journey with him. Backhand today is made up of 20 plus incredibly promising stars and there is no way of stopping the talented team as they adventure down exciting routes in the industry. Fin has had many appearances at some of the biggest venues around Bristol, Bath, Manchester, Brighton and more. Decca’s proudest achievements are his Lakota Residency as well as having played at Nass festival, on 2 stops of Hedex’s Tour and going on to play on the same stage as chase and status at Spring Break Amsterdam.

Decca is a jump up fanatic with a great passion for the sub genre and this is replicated in his mixes. Get ready for intensity, this is not one to be missed!

Introducing “No Face No Case” – the result of a special link up between Gray, Ozone and Diagnostix. You’ll definitely know the first face in this single line-up, but you may not be as familiar with Ozone and Diagnostix – two young artists who have been causing a stir in the short time they’ve been in the jungle and D&B scene with their ability to flex big sounds and mixes. If you were at Wrong Side of The Tracks at Boomtown last year for Diagnostix b2b Monroller then you’ll know all about this! You may have even heard the tune teased…

Gray, Ozone & Diagnostix - No Face No Case - Out Now!

Yen, also known as Tre George, is a 21-year-old producer and DJ who has been making waves in the NZ Drum and Bass scene. He has truly established himself as one of the most exciting up-and-coming producers and DJs in New Zealand.

 At the ripe age of 21, Yen released his debut singles "Dust Up" and "Herb" on Subway Soundz, both of which shot straight to number 1 on Beatport's top 10 drum and bass releases chart. Since then, Yen has been sitting on a mountain of dubs and has been working with a range of local and international producers to truly refine his sound. This has earned him support from the likes of Dutta, Kelvin 373, Selecta J-Man, Crossy, Bish, Aries, and many more.

 His growing reputation as one of New Zealand's most exciting drum and bass exports has led him to perform alongside artists like Sota, Amplify, K Motionz, Enei, Jakes, Pola & Bryson, Upgrade, Ac13, and the Born on Road crew, to name a few.

 Yen's enthusiasm for big shows has also landed him performances at some of New Zealand's largest shows and festivals, with no sign of slowing down. As this young producer looks ahead to the rest of 2023, his career can only continue to grow from here."
