Scratch Irie - Babylon Falling Mix

Producing since 2000, started with weird ambient electronica and Jungle/D&B before moving onto Hiphop and Dub. Unsigned and mostly unmastered. After going through a dubstep phase with my bro Armtiage Shanks as 'Brothers Grime' I now mainly produce UK Dub for Irie Vibes Sound System under the moniker of Don Bobbio.

DJing since 2002, joined York-based Breakz in 2004 and was heavily involved until 2011. Promoting since 2005, when I co-founded the Soulspun Sound System and started the Herbal Mafia nights which are still going strong. I then co-founded Irie Vibes Sound System (linking Soulpun and Cranky together) in 2009 to promote the reggae scene in York.

I've supported numerous artists from the worlds of hiphop, reggae, drum&bass, dubstep and more (see Breakz and Herbal Mafia websites for an idea) plus played and managed stages at many many festivals including Beat-Herder, Beacons, Solfest, Moorfest and YO1.
