Swiss music producer Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - released his "Damals" EP last year. The compilation involved his distinctive broad sounds, fluttering synths and warm subtly-applied basses. The EP's three tracks have now been remixed and will be published as Basel-based Gelbes Billet Musik's 30th release on April 30th, 2014.

Der Schweizer Musikproduzent Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - brachte im vergangenen Jahr seine EP "Damals" raus. Die Zusammenstellung bestand aus seinen charakteristischen, weiten Hallräumen, flatternden Synths und warmen, subtil eingesetzten Bässen. Die drei Werke der EP wurden nun geremixed und am 30. April 2014 auf dem Label auf dem Label Gelbes Billett Musik, das in Basel sitzt, als 30. Katalognummer veröffentlicht. Following their much acclaimed surprise debut, VERMONT’s sophomore longplayer presented “another set that rewards deep listening” (AllMusic) and “a mix of simplicity and richness” whose result is “a feeling of spaciousness and a thrilling sense of weightlessness” (XLR8R). Stripping away even more percussion than on its predecessor, “II” saw @MarcusWorgull and Danilo Plessow zooming in on ambience, texture and sonic cohesiveness, allowing “each electronic voice to come into focus” (Pitchfork). Now, “II REMIXES” puts the beat back into the mix, thanks to iconic artists @DIXON, @I-CUBE and WASSERMANN (@wolfgang_voigt) who each develop their own irresistible groove out of the immersive source material. As one of the album’s most highlighted cuts, DSCHUNA gets the royal treatment by Innervisions head and internationally revered selector DIXON who proves his strong command of the dance floor with a hypnotic ride that surrounds the soaring sounds of the original with tribal- esque vocals. The instrumental version drops the chants, but retains the enchantment, all elegant rhythm and gorgeous strings. Versatile’s I:CUBE, legendary producer and DJ in its own right, brings a distinctly Parisian touch to the spectral SKORBUT, whose sci-fi-imbued widescreen aura gets reimagined as laser-gun-wielding space funk machine. Following on from his Anjunadeep Explorations debut last summer, emerging German DJ/producer Ben Böhmer returns to the label for his first solo outing with a trio of melodic weapons on ‘Morning Falls EP’. The EP opens with the rolling melodies of ‘Morning Falls’ before drifting into peak time club cut ‘After Earth’. Böhmer rounds off the EP with the laid back grooves of ‘Velvet Rebellion’ which also features his friend and frequent collaborator Wood.

Mit „Nordhavn“ bringt der Dresdner nun eine weitere EP auf dem Berliner Imprint raus. „Das Label kam vor ein paar Monaten auf mich zu und fragte, ob wir wieder einmal gemeinsam eine EP machen wollen. "Based in Pisa, Italian production partners and brothers Giovanni and Daniele Bruni aka Pôngo have quickly become rising names of note, balancing both vibrant DJ sets with expansive, refined live performances across Europe and beyond. 

Following releases on Stereo MC’s London based imprint Connected, finding key support from artists including Solomun, Joris Voorn and Kölsch, the duo now turns their attention to a debut outing on Booka Shade’s Blaufield to open 2019, with three dynamic cuts in forming their ‘So Many Words’ EP.

Title track ‘So Many Words’ opens proceedings as the duo combine crisp percussion shots, trademark vocals and pulsating bassline patterns to great effect, before ‘Strong’ builds around further infectious vocals with powerful synth builds and rich yet icy tones. Last up, 

‘When You Come’ rounds out proceedings, revealing evolving lead melodies, suspenseful breaks and sweeping synths to shape up the EP.
