Calum Winter is a former Bell Baxter High School pupil and our very own local hero. 

Here he entertains the audience at "Hear the Nation" with a couple of tunes on the bagpipes.

Calum is studying physics at university and has more than a passing interest in meteorology.

He is an award winning member of the Torphichen and Bathgate Pipe Band and President of Edinburgh University Piping and Drumming Society.

Calum is also politically very active and is the Secretary of Edinburgh University Scottish Nationalist Association.

Hear the Nation was a successful evening of inspirational speaking, poetry and music hosted by Yes North East Fife on the 16th May 2013 at the Corn Exchange in Cupar.
